Don't you think the antagonist would be aware of Qi Lian's identity too? So why has he left easily obtainable information to be discovered by the son of Qi group? Yeah, he "trusts" xiaoyuan so well that when he wasn't aware of the truth and mistakenly believed her to be a persona of the original xiaoyuan, he couldn't stop himself from demonstrating his strength and temper, despite being told by her several times before that she wasn't who he thought she was. Here goes the maturity of the ML 🤡 For those who will judge that was the only bad thing from Qi Lian's end (ep 7)... A man shows his mettle when his back is against the wall and sees a dead end. If he deviates from being collected in such a situation, and chooses the wrong path, he has already failed. Qi Lian may have become gentle and understanding now but that's happened after being aware of the truth, not when it was needed the most.

I know he made mistake but he was also victim of that lighthouse project,it must have been hard for him to control his emotions later he got his KARMA backk. I'm not implying a woman can't handle stress but whenever she does, it takes a toll on her mental health and she gets on the verge of breaking down in the process of overcoming her difficult situation. On the other hand, a man figures out a way to get through a catastrophic situation. He knows how to suck it up, and will strive for not breaking down to the best of his ability. Not every man is like that though, only those who possess this quality become the hero. If Qi Lian is the ML, his actions should have a congruence with the qualities of a hero. He took out his anger on a woman, not another guy. Xiaoyuan, on the contrary, has shown more emotional maturity, in her most vulnerable state. When she hit Qi Lian, she was having a mental breakdown because her perception of reality was at stake and she couldn't afford to lose the only option she considered she had (Huo Boyu) to get back to her 'world'. She hit him not to express her emotion but to stop him from doing any harm to Huo Boyu.

@@chengxiao13 I don't know whether the stress tolerance of man and a woman is equal or not,but I think it depends on the person how they deal with their stress. We can't differentiate male and female in this matter! And about his behavior I do agree that he shouldn't have done that to her but that time he was too confused and desperate to know about Xiaoyuan even though she told him multiple times before,he thought she wants to pretend as if nothing happened in past and when he found out that she is also a time traveler he just acted like that in anger. But later he tried to understand her. I am not blaming her for hitting him cause i know she was confused too,I am just trying to think evenly. They both weren't perfect,they both weren't mature but after meeting each other they got changed. They are much more mature than before,that's called character development.. so let's not blame them cause nobody is perfect😅

My favorite part is 36:03 up to when Jiang bo told them to stop cause he wanted to sleep . He is suga 2.0
