Державний гімн Української РСР - State Anthem of Ukrainian SSR(Rare version)

Музыка

The 1978 national anthem of the Ukrainian SSR which has different lyrics
Rare recording

People should be able to differentiate between politics and music, I'm sick of Ukrainians being so patriotic that they forget that they were once brothers in Soviet Union

They think their nation is so great, when they are nothing more than a pawn to oppose Russia and the unity of Slavic race

Lol, maybe you will ask ukrainians about it? Plus what do we need to do about it? Do we need to go and become a part of russia, because somewhere in the 80s, 50s or 30s we were a part of USSR or a part of the russian empire?

Ukrainian SSR was one of the most important member inside the Soviet family. Together with Russia, it suffered a lot and also gained a lot of success during the Soviet era. And some Ukrainian are treating with Soviet past like some kind of alien civilization.

This wasn't that long ago. Well within my parents lifetime and certainly my grandparents. How is it Ukraine seems to have forgotten their own history so quickly?

@@AnthemRed Yeah. It's also true that Ukraine isn't unique in that regard. I see the same trend in people from all sorts of different backgrounds. I'm lucky enough to have been born in a highly educated family that keeps extensive historical and ancestral records going back centuries. Most people aren't so lucky. They only know what they are told at school and in the media they consume

@@Str3tchyL3gs I like how you keep some historical information, so you don't just see the news from one side but from the side that isn't explained. I admit that what the media and schools say is not one hundred percent true but it is not all wrong.
