It's hands down one of the best tutorials out there. Much Much appreciated
Thank you so much for this. You are such a good teacher! So well explained and perfect for beginners. Great speaking voice for narration easy on the ears. Please do a character version of this! Please do more blender tutorials and set up a patreon with your tutorials. I'd def watch more of your tutorials that are exactly like this one but for animation/vfx/character/environment. Thanks!
Great instructions and demonstration. Thanks!
Omg - finally a solid step by step!!!
Great video. Your explanation of the subject to a complete novice is very much appreciated. Just subbed, and look forward to watching a lot more of your content. Thank you for treating us beginners with respect. Excellent. 👌
Really loved this video. Exactly what I was looking for. I just subscribed. Looking forward to more in-depth videos on this subject.
It was both relaxing and educational 😊 More of an Unreal Engine guy myself, Blender has always been my second go to tool for most things. And the way you demonstrated things sparkled new ideas in my mind. Thank you for beautiful tutorial and the work you put into it ❤
One of the best SD tutorials I've seen!

Thank you, the great technology
Gracias por compartirlo!!! es muy interesante
This is pretty damn cool.
OMG! You just gave me an Idea for 3D real treasure maps. First one will be free, but they will really have search and solves some puzzles.

Happy you enjoyed it!
Wow!
I feel like the same texture as a bump map for some more detail would be appropriate. Good video :)
Youve got mad skills.

Of course!
i cannot install the extension from url :( also downloading the files doesnt work, weird. is the depth map especially good or any free website online will do the same thing? thanks
its easier with the midas depth node in comfy ui, then you can automate the process. tip, generate panoramic 360 images using prompting, then project them onto a sphere and offset the verticies by the depth grade amount along their inverse normal, this way you can generate 360 degree spheres with simulated depth from a static view. very cool for viewing in VR. this would be easy to do using javascript library three.js or in an engine like unreal engine using the vertex offset attribute inside its material.
thanks for your work, does someone can use it on a mac?
If anybody is getting odd reflections try moving your light then go into the light > data >specular and turn that down
Thank you! How is it possible to get a room smooth?
Love the video. love the tutorial and I really dig your channel. so many great tutorials and videos. I said all that so you know i'm poking fun at you and I mean no offense, I'm a fan...I just wanted to point out... you reaaaaaally need to change this video to "go ahead" soooo many times and it started to make me grin everytime you said it lol. anyway, lates brosef.

Haha I definitely got repetitive XD
Does increasing the subdivide count increase the "Resolution" of the model?
Hello, can it be installed on a laptop with an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 card? Thank you for your reply
Can anyone tell me how he fill the missing scenery behind (like the back of mountains)
Great job! I cant see any significant DOF artefacts when camera moving and also the resolution of the output movie is pretty high. Can you answer to a couple of questions? Why do you use Depth Extension but not ControlNet? What is the resolution of the picture from Midjourney? And by the way, why Midjourney? Why did you not use SD only?

Back when I was still learning diffusion I didn’t know all the tricks 🤗 And Midjourney usage was just because I pay for it, so I wanted to use it haha. No real reason.

I couldn't get ControlNet to work, but with this tutorial I managed to get my DepthMaps MJ is easy for realistic photos when used with ChatGPT and an MJ plugin.. (I do this)
Hi! Can you tell me please wich videocard i need to use depth in stable diffusion, to make without problem depth map for image with resolution 1280x720? I suppose that it will be geforce with support derect X 12 but wich model will be optimal in terms of price/quality ratio? I need help, thanks for the answers!

@@HustleMillennial Thanks! But its little bit expensive. And what about AMD? RX580 for example) Speed is not important, it is much more important that the depth extension is launched and may be slowly but gives result, is it possible? 🙂

youll most likely need a gpu with rtx capability and no less than 8gb vram. you can get a 3060ti for around 250USD or so that should do the trick. however, if you want to get in to running sdxl, or doing warp fusion, youre gonna want a 3080 or higher
Hey, it didnt work for me sorry its auto choosing my CPU even tho i did choose the gpu on the webpage and i have latest drivers 5700xt
Superb tutorial, can we achieve the same effect with postcards or old black and white photos? Thank you for your reply. Sincerely

Thank you for watching! It depends on the image. Postcards with landscapes would work great! Images of people maybe not so much.
Nice vid! Where's the 3D character tutorial? :>

Haven’t been able to make anything that looks decent XD Every solid mockup has a lot of non ai intervention.
Sadly it doesn't work with the latest automatic. Just doesn't op up in the menu.

@@HustleMillennial Hoi, found the reason, it was because "depth" addon was missing modules :) But one "help" i could need as i always ends up googling my ass off as i have a terrible memory and forgetting how i did it last time, what's the way to properly install missing modules? Just enter venv/scripts, open cmd there, type activate to activate venv, cd back to webui root folder and pip install module? Or what's the proper way? :P
why wouldn't you just use stable diffusion for the image generation lol
