Great tutorial .. How about seperating build process from the deploy process. The build process creates the docker image and push it to registry And the deploy process runs the docker containers using the docker-compose on the ec2 server

Why are you installing the dependencies again after running the build script? Everything should already be bundled in ./dist so when you copy this folder you should not need to install deps again. Or am I missing something?

How can I update my code on EC2 instance? I tried to 'git pull' and run 'sudo docker compose up -d' again but it didn't work

Bence videoya giriş kısmı çok önemli. Direk konuya girmekten ziyade bi hazırlık kısmı olmalı. Farklı platformların farklı kuralları var mesela. Birde gereğince ingilizce döküman video vs. var. Ben türkçe olmasını tercih ederdim. Çünkü tam çeviri olmadığında, tam kavrama olmuyor. Bilmiyorum belki kendini göstermek için çekilmiş bir videodur. Benim önceliğim karşı tarafa bunu en basit, en anlaşılır hali ile nasıl anlatırım olurdu. Zaten bu tarz videoları izleyenler de buna yeni başlamış, yapmakta güçlük çekenler olacaktır:) Mesela lambda da 250 MB sorunu var ve benim uygulamam 600 MB , limit sınırı var 6sn de deploy olmaz ise timeout hatası veriyor nasıl çözerim durumu vs. Bunları sadece kendi açımdan söylüyorum, başlık ve içerik güzel elinize ağzınıza sağlık:)

Burası bir yazılım eğitim kanalı değil. Öğrendiklerimi adım adım paylaştığım bir kanal. Videolu günlük gibi :) İlk paylaştığım videolara bakarsanız daha iyi anlarsınız. O esnada ne öğrendiysem onun videosunu çekip yüklüyorum. Hem öğrenmemi kolaylaştırıyor hem de gelişim sürecimi daha iyi görüyorum. Ve aldığım mesajlardan anladığım kadarıyla, bazı kişiler bu videolar sayesinde yazılıma falan başlamışlar. Süper :) Ve bazen inglizcemi geliştirmek için de inglizce video çekiyorum. Ama dediğim gibi şu anda baştan sona eğitim kursları vs. çekmiyorum. İleride belki kapsamlı eğitim kursları hazırlarım... Bu arada yourmunuz için teşekkürler :) Lambda ile ilgili bir işim olur ve öğrenirsem onun da videosunu çekerim :)

My man, can you help me understand, if I now want to serve a frontend as well say in angular or Vue3, Do I just spin up another aws? run it on the same? somewhere else? also is it a good idea running db and backend on the same server? Im lost haha.

you can youse nginx to serve both apps on th same ec2.
