Saw 'em do this song way back when... no one was listening yet. There were only a dozen people, and some of those were the wait staff. Small place in DC called the Black Cat. Did a great show anyway. If they'd been at the 930(club) they'd seen more crowds, but I was a very happy camper.

Mein Neffe ist im März diesen Jahres überraschend verstorben. Er war ein großer Fan von dieser Gruppe. Auf seiner Trauerfeier wurden drei Titel von dieser Band vom Band gespielt. Wir haben alle Songs im Herzen gespeichert. Ruhe in Frieden Nico ,diese Musik erinnert uns weiter an Dich.

I was just watching a video of Just Can't Get Enough. And so far, I have loved them in every era. So interesting to see them come from a synth only band to a guitar, drums, and synth band. I love it all and miss the members that have passed.

@@zarrillina63 tutte copiate.. poi sono raccomandati, comunque come tanti altri che si credono talenti della musica, le canzoni copiate che tirano fuori spariscono dai radar, non sono né Depeche Mode, né Guns N' Roses, né i Queen, Vasco ecc.. chi fa Cover non è degno di essere chiamato cantante, sentivo per caso delle loro canzoni mentre ero al supermercato, non si capisce neanche cosa dicono.. posso capire le simpatie e i gusti, ma questi non valgono neanche l'unghia dei Depeche Mode.

Weird how music from 40 years ago feels very relevant still. However, if you go back another 40 years before that (1940s) the music doesn't seem in any way similar but it's still the same 40-year gap

Music is our ticket back. We listen and feel like we are there. At least for a few minutes at a time. Music transports us like nothing else can. Not even movies. We can all remember “where” and “when” if we’re listing to a song. Music is our vessel.

I saw this live --- I wanted to be in the audience singing with the best ! Depeche Mode ! It seems that in 2021 people know more about DM than that audience in 2013 ! LONG LIVE DEPECHE MODE !

How lucky you are...you saw this live...
I have never seen a bad live performance by DM, and I have seen them a LOT over the years. And there are precious few lead singers who make it into their late 50s retaining as much of their voice’s tone and range as Dave has (and Martin too, for that matter).

They're a good band from the UK. Not sure about the best though. Have you listened to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Queen, The Smiths or The Beatles?
