Also with 12 yo daughter! When we have long drives (sometimes even short) inevitably she puts on a ton of DM. She always wants me to sing along; I have a DG/MG voice and of course have been singing these songs for decades. It brings me such joy to share this music with her!😊

I eas drawn to this band by its high quality, great sound and excellent videos. Yet when i have a closer look at their 'videos' is see its almost totally Demonic/Fallen angel/Satanic - Have you noticed? If not i can point it out friend. From what I've been told, amongst many other forms, the demonic easily finds its way in through thought. This means its launched by Lyrica, Visuals and Actual Confrontation (which in at least one vid is happening I believe) Please take care-but we've all been there😅) Peace 🙏 Praise be to Yeshua HaMachiach/Jesus

Congrats! They changed my life as a 14 year old in 86. Ive seen every tour. Took my kids to the Sacramento CA show on a road trip spring break. We all ❤️ DM! Music For The Masses is my all time fave, and Black Celebration. But cannot fault anything 1994 or below.
I'm 19 and I just discovered them bc of "The last of us" I'm simply obsessed their sound is so unique and timeless I swear I thought it was a new band or so, I was shocked when I knew they've been in the industry since the 80's! They're amazing!!!

It was a new discovery for me. The record store was playing Ultra when I walked in last month and I was in a trance🧡 i would love to see them LIVE
I’ve been listening to DM since the 80’s and have been to many of their shows. I played DM in the car all the time. Today my son is 20 and for Easter we were cooking and and listening to music and DM’s Enjoy the Silence came on and as I started to sing my son was singing too!! He knew all the words! I was like you know this song? He was like Ma come on it’s what I grew up on 😅😅❤
I grew up listening to DM because my dad has been a huge fan since their inception. We just went to the Memento Mori tour earlier this year and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a few times.
Music helps me get my feelings out when I don’t have words thank you for that and I’m excited to hopefully go to your concert!

My favorite part of going to their concerts is interacting with all the older fans who come up to me excited thats I’m such a young fan. Favorite interactions was “I’ve been listening to them longer than you’ve been alive, and yet here we both are!”
Years ago I went to a screening of 101 and parents had brought their kids and there were 9 or 10 years olds singing Strangelove and Never Let Me Down in the theater. It was great!
Been listening to dm since about 84 when my parents brought home some of their music from a trip to the UK. Still my absolute favorite

I was born in '81. Got into, "The Mode" when I was 11. Even then I knew they were ahead of their time. It's no surprise kids discover it and feel it's more modern music
My first introduction with Depeche Mode happened when i heard “Enjoy the Silence” on TV (it was like an hour long program, where they played hits of 80s-90s), when i was 16-17. And not until i was 25, i haven’t listened to any other of their songs. Oh boy, maybe it was a matter of time, or something else, but i am so happy that I re-discovered DM again in my late 20s. Now i am 26, i’ve been lucky to go to their show in Paris 🇫🇷 this year, and might i say one of the best shows i’ve ever been to. You just had to be there, to witness how big DM still are. The crowd.. i’ve never seen a crowd so big in my entire life. And how much fun everyone was having from big to little. They are truly, one of a kind🖤
Aww Dave, I was introduced by my mom and uncle. And I will introduce my kids to your music. 💕💕💕

I can answer this, my older brother made me listen to DM and I grew up loving them. When I had kids, this is mostly all I listened to so my boys grew to love them as well. Now my older bro has passed and DM is one of our most meaningful memories shared so now I have the Violator rose tattooed on my ankle with the stem that says my brothers name. DM will always be in my heart and my playlist just like my brother. If I play a song in the car I bet you that my now teenage/ young adult boys will sing along. ❤
As parents we raised our kids on DEPECHE MODE. Once you are hooked on DEPECHE MODE YOU ARE A FAN FOR LIFE. WE ARE FANS SINCE 1987. DM FOR LIFE 😊
I was at the Vancouver show and it was great to see the huge age difference, young and old. Been listening to DM since late 80's. 😊
My dad has been a huge depeche mode fan ever since the communism regime fell in our country and since then he hasn’t missed a single tour. When I was young we used to go on trips and he would always play their songs so naturally some of the melodies got stuck in my head but I never gave them a listen on my own.. Couple of years later he bought tickets for me and himself to their concert and I was blown away by the atmosphere and honestly enjoyed the every second of it so much, it was amazing!! I got hooked on their music afterwards and I now I understand why he likes them so much

It's a genuine interest from the kiddos! My son is asking me constantly to put on DM, even when I want to listen to something else. He discovered them on his own and loves it!
My dad has been a fan since he was a kid and he played Depeche Mode around me as a kid, I'm 26 and just went to my first Depeche Mode concert a few days ago at the Key Arena and it was phenomenal. I love those guys.
I grew up listening to Depeche Mode, and it was not my first choice as a child until I reached my teenagehood, when I became a real fan. Now, as a father, playing songs and seeing that my kids genuinely like them is amazing. DM is and will be transcendence
Im 23 and i grow up with ther music and i love it it is my favorite band of all time
My 16 year old has grown up with me playing them in the car and singing their songs around the house. Last year he showed me his year end results of his music streaming…..Depeche Mode was by far his most listened to artist! 🖤
I'm 38 and I started listening DM in 2021, and find everything what I need, lyrics and music and voice are perfect❤
I am a fan since 1980 and still getting goosebumps in 2023
I'm 54 this year, my son is 22. It's definitely a generational thing lol. Strangely he band is punk rock. He loves DM for the same reason I do. The unique sound, the enchanting melodies, and those the lyrics. We never get tired of "It's no good", "Policy of truth", "Enjoy The Silence", "In My room", "Little 15", "Never let me down again", " Strange Love", Route 66. So many more. They are absolutely iconic! ❤❤❤
I agree it's generational. I have GenX siblings and as an 80s baby, I had to hear my big brother blasting People are People when I was a toddler in '84. Been LOVING DM ever since! Their show in Detroit (11/8/23) was EVERYTHING! So honored to be there! 😍😍😍😍😍
Usually parents. My parents werent a huge fan of 80s or electronic type music, but my best friend that i met in 11th grade back in 07 introduced me to industrial and eventually i discovered the older stuff. Well watched media helps too.
Hearing Never Let Me Down Again at the end of the The Last Of Us pilot was a joy.
Been a fan since I was a kid, back in the '90s. Violator was still getting a ton of airtime on the radios, at that point. Finally got the chance to catch one of their shows on the current tour!
Our daughter is now a Depeche Mode fan all thanks to Dad, Mom, and Step-Mom! We just saw them perform in Detroit and it was an incredible show!
This happened to me. Huge DM fan all through 80s to 2000s, CDs, went to shows. I kinda stopped listening for a long while, shifting to modern bands in including Chvrches, Odesza etc. My then 13 year old wanted to go through my CD collection (in a box, not out, I use Spotify like everyone now) after asking for a CD player, and pulled out my DM CDs. I had no idea they were even of interest. So we talked and shared notes on songs I recommended! Then this summer asked to go to the MementoMori concert for a birthday gift! We went - together -- last night. my 19 year old self did not in any way contemplate such a thing would be possible. I love it.
I'm 23 and although I've liked some of their most known stuff like Enjoy The Silence or Personal Jesus, I only started to listen to them more about 2 months back. I always liked 80s music and I just started listening to their discography out of nowhere. Ever since, I'm hooked, I know most of their stuff by heart already, have bought DM merch and also going to their concert next year!

Looks like great taste runs in the family 😉
My kids have been listening to my music since they were babies hahaha. I was born in 1973 so I grew up listening to disco and the music my parents played at home which was a wide spectrum in English and Spanish. We listened to the radio and got into the new wave, new romantic, techno, synth pop, etc at 8 years old. Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie, The Cure, Duran Duran, New Order, The Smiths, Kraftwerk, etc, etc, etc were among my favorite bands and singers. So my kids grew up listening to the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music they have come with me to many concerts since they were young kids.
Only discovered them recently and they’re awesome

I've been listening for yeah, like 40 years. I swear their music gets better as I get older. Some excellent songwriting.
I remember listening to Depesche Mode when I was in high school. I graduated in 1983.
The show in Łódź (Poland) was amazing and it really showed the age-spread of their fans. I saw families with little kids in their best pink sequins, teenagers, a variety of adults and an elderly man... in his best sequins! ❤
I’ve been a major fan of depeche mode ever since their first album and still love these guys.🎶🎶🎶🎶🤘🤘❤️💯

i took my daughter to a Depeche Mode show, we had the best time! lie to me is my favorite DM song, i love to find out other's favorite it's always so varied ❤
As a woman who grew up during the 1980s and who’d heard some of Depeche Mode’s tunes back then, but didn’t start getting into their music until 2022, I can’t help but be happy for these guys that some younger generations are beginning to check them out, too. Like others on here have said, good music IS good music, and Depeche Mode’s beautiful music is just one out of many examples of that.
I’m 18 and thanks to my dad I’ve been listening to DM for at least ten years! Only recently got super into them though, got the chance to see them live on Halloween!
I'm young myself and I'm musician and and discovering Depeche mode was really good and intriguing they made really good music back then. Synth music of been the trend back then

I found about Depeche Mode when I was 15 years old (5 years ago) and I'm so glad I'm a Depeche Mode fan right now!
My daughter, who is 11, said something about "People are People" the other night and of course I had to play her the song and she loved it! She hasn't really stopped humming it since. DM is a forever kind of vibe. 💖💖💖

I started listening to DM with their first album when I was 12/13 y.o. then when I started to work in my family factory, luckily I was able to listen to music while working and all our employees became fans, even my father who was a tango man, then my younger brother, now all my nephews, even the younger ones who are 10 y.o..
