To Clarify: The guy who "lost his phone" had made his way into the aisle up front from his seat which was deep middle third row. He stepped in front of many people who were in their legit $$$$ seats....and NOT to get a closer video of Dave or Martin or DM at all...he was holding up his giant phone doing selfies of himself in front of real fans trying to watch and enjoy the encore! He was blocking a woman who was in her ACTUAL seat, and when she rightfully objected to him blocking her view taking selfie videos.... he responded by shoving her! To her credit she shoved his self absorbed ass right back..and the guy dropped his phone! This pissed him off even more so he tried to shove the woman again at which point her bf/husband/male companion (Idk) stepped up and defended his lady and the fight broke out. I respect the lady who objected and defended herself against this self absorbed douche. I also respect he bf for stepping in after the arrogant douche laid hands on his lady. All that said...I have the most respect for Dave who identified the situation and handled it with such emotional intelligence and professionalism saying "Nothing is worth that...Nothing is worth what your doing" then made light of the phone loss and calmed everyone down. Security was a bit over the top but their intentions were good and in the end they got it right and kicked that conceited dullard out and let the couple back to their rightful seats. Dave handled it brilliantly. He is after all the best front man for the greatest band of all time, ever. Great great show!

Concert crowds today are a bunch of pathological narcissists who are only there to register their presence on freaking Instagram, they're not there to watch the band. It's disgusting and a sad portrait of the horrible state that humankind has achieved... The only place where there's real human connection is in clubs and bars.

What a rare thing, a successful recording artist who actually notices their audience. I’ve only ever seen something similar happen once, when Julia Fordham stopped singing when someone e had a heart attack during one of her shows. Well done to David for defusing the situation.

Кстати комментарии в различных сетях - это такой мощный ресурс для размножения ненависти! Порой читаю комментарии и просто поражаюсь. Very interesting, especially since in is in So. Cal. I saw Depeche Mode at Perkins Palace (back around 83/84) and some fan rushed onto the stage and the Bouncers manhandled & abused the guy, which pissed off Depeche Mode, Dave said something to the crowd and the band walked off the stage. They came back after 10/15 minute and finished the concert...
