Same! I saw them in San Antonio and it was the best show I’ve been to in my (almost) 48 years; they were incredible, and the crowd-myself included-am currently trying to figure out how to throw together the $$$ to see them again in Dallas Oct 1! 😂

I almost got tears in my eyes! Look how happy Dave is singing, reaching those high notes Back in 2001 he couldn't even sing this song, his voice was really damaged Now he can do whatever he wants, and they brought this song back to the set. His voice is better than ever. it sounds just beautiful! I cannot wait to see them live =)

I got the feeling his voice was shot during the San Jose show (+ Never Let Me Down for LA show) and during the talk show press tour while performing Ghosts Again. Am I wrong for the LA show?

I love that you love him, as do i, but that is demonstrably not true. Still a worthy performance of this song at this stage of his career.

I know that a LOT of DM fans don't like this song, and don't like Dave's vocal on it, but it's always been a fave and is the ONLY song I would ever consider performing if I was somehow forced to do Karaoke, lol!

Though I think that I am in a minority as I do rate Exciter as a great album. I guess we each take something personal from the songs that others might not. Looking forward to Amsterdam!

I wish they’d played it in San Antonio, but I’m not complaining-the whole show was incredible! What I wouldn’t give for the chance to fly to Berlin to see them there, though. But I can’t complain: I’m seeing them again in Dallas in October! 💜💜💜

This performance was absolutely 💯 beautiful. To be there live and hear it was an unforgettable experience. They sounded soooo good! Depeche Mode gets better with every tour and show. I love them forever 🖤

It was awesome. I was very far from stage to see the performance but I was able to feel the song and there is no words that can explain what we felt that night

That is just so so special. They are in such a good place. Dave has had to sing the song in a different key on previous tours as he couldn't manage to sing it in the orginal key. But this is in the orginal key. It's so good!

@@Woodlightyear89 it’s only the 3rd gig in the tour. Last tour no significant changes didn’t happen until the end of the 2nd leg. I think more rotation is on the way

Thanks for posting this! So THIS is what it looks like from just a few rows back. Lucky! We were in the upper level for the Chicago show, but still had a decent view. And while I like "Waiting For the Night To Fall," I'm glad they went with "Condemnation" instead for the encore. It's a much stronger song (vocally) for live performances, and the crowd gets into it as well.

This was the song that introduced me to DM. Holds a special place in my heart ❤ x

I love Depeche Mode They haven't lost any of their luster. I'm not a fan of bands like the Rolling Stones having their male nurse on stage, but as long as you can do without, why not. Dave his voice is just as good as it was back then. In good shape for his 60 years, considering he cheated death twice, hats off. . I wish them both a lot of strength and health. Two types of fighters.

I love that even with the added guitar, they still stay true to the fact that a grand piano is the main instrument for the song.

@@depechemode4ever1 je les suis depuis mes 11 ans, en 1980 et connais la biographie phénoménale de chaque membre, Dave recruté comme lead vocalist qui a surmonté des drames personnels pour devenir sage et posé. 3e album enfin composé par Martin le cerveau si polymorphe et émouvant. Très affligée par le décès injuste de Fletch, 30 ans de mariage, DJ parfois et discret, producteur, clavieriste, j'avoue que j'ai été paresseuse car je parle anglais grâce à eux surtout. Dave s singing for the Soulsavers made my day, so impressed was I. He sang out of this world in Paris ... the key to perfection lies within your commentary. I ve been very active since September when a DJ revealed on his site that they were preparing the so expected 15th album ...like an earthquake in my life. Even though I listen to so many true composers and singers without autotune from 1960 to 2023, all styles worldwide, electro, trip hop, industrial, progressive rock, classics as well, to be honest DM are the best and it is an euphemism.
