Sadly Andy didn't really appreciate Alan's work for the team and was indirectly making Alan feel like an outcast and he had to quit. . But it's now water under the bridge .

This is one of my favorite DM songs. DM has touched so many people all over the world. I used to listen to this on cassette tape back in the 80's and 90's. RIP Andy Fletcher. Thank you.

I don’t know if we would have Depeche Mode now if it wasn’t for Andy. He did more to keep the band together than any one knows. He was the peacekeeper, the voice of sanity and a devoted friends regardless of how others behaved around him. I know we will always remember him and will tip a pint in his honour.
