Jayvee Paguio we are. But it is lacking. They did great on the dance and energy. A lot of army praised them bc fire is really hard to cover. Those army who praised are lost in the comment section. Again this people did good on the dance but their voice doesn't suit this song, they made it really high. The jhope first boy though did good. He was the best on capturing those energy and big gesture. They also lacked at making gesture and the face emotion. Fire is a song with a emotion of mocking or im way above you kind of thing. This song is tiring so even i would have forget those gesture.

the korean letter for r and l is the same ㄹ (its more complicated than that but its basically that). maybe they forget? dont know? so they start the word with l instead of r??

As an Army I'm really proud of this cover. They did it with no backing track and with very little time to prepare and it still came out pretty awesome! I do think some of their voices aren't really suited to this song, but that may just be because I'm used to listening to the original version. Fire is not an easy song to cover but they did great!

I agree Fire is one of the hardest songs to cover but other teams had difficult songs to cover, yet did well. With all respect to BTS and Army this was a weak cover, the vocals didn't match for most of the part.

I think a lot of ignorant kpop fans don't know that their beloved idols use heavy backtrack. Those so called MR version are always inaccurate as mostly they are pre-recorded vocals without 100% live. But oh well, as kids these days take "pride" in whatever they believe in. I guess we just ignore them.

I'm saying its unfair to compare this team's performance with the best version of BTS's that was probably sung with backtrack or lipsynching. Not to mention BTS had months to practice while these guys got a week at most.

Freedomofspeech24 BTS have never lip synced and that is something we ARMY take pride in so stf u dont know anything ok. i swear it makes me laugh at how u act like u know everything. just coz ur faves lip synced or some others have doesn't mean BTS have. the reason this performance is lacking is because it doesn't have the energy. BTS has their own style of music that is very diverse and hard to copy.

This is a really good cover. For those people who think their vocals are weak, no it's NOT. just because they have a different voice(there are some who are high pitched) doesn't make it weak.

I really think y'all should stop criticizing this performance and compare it to BTS. Same goes for all the other performances. These Boys and Girls have a week to practice all of this and then perform it completely live and without backtrack(!!!). Hardly any Kpop group does this. Bts never performed Fire without backtrack (I'm not saying they can't sing live, backtrack just helps to fill in some more vocals and power), so I think you should show these people some respect, even if you prefer the original. They all work very hard and don't deserve bitchy ass comments.

I'm not following the unit, not do I know how long they practiced this song but I don't see why u guys complaining. Comparing them with the original seems unfair bec they r not bts and I personally think this is a good stage, they did their best. Because nothing in this world could be as good as the original, for whatever it is.

A shoutout to everyone who's showed some support and proposed constructive criticism to these boys instead of plainly judging them "bad" or "worse than the original"! We all agree that this performance might not be perfect and lacking at some parts but they've put so much effort into it, given the fact that there was limited time for them to prepare. They deserve the chance to prove themselves in the future. Fighting, The Unit!

fuza mn this show is an "idol rebooting project" basically giving underrated idols or unpopular idols 2nd chance by appearing in this show, later they will create a temporary group (just like produce101, but it is for 'debuted' idol, even if there is some trainee in this show too). What i mean by "bts senior" is some of them actually debut earlier than bts, you know bts debut in 2013 right, in this Fire performance there is JunQ he's from MyName and they debut in 2011. So he's actually bts senior if you consider their debut year, not their popularity. Thank you :)

I think it's because when you are used to certain way of singing of a particular song - nothing will satisfy. As normally covers - they dont do exact copy of the ori song, they sing it their way esp with the way the end on specific words.

The fact that some of y’all are comparing them to BTS, calling this a “weak” and “terrible” performance is hilarious. You make it seem like they’re supposed to do better than the artist who sings it. Have some respect, you’re not the ones out there on the stage performing it, so chill out.

They did a great performance, but one thing that I really liked about the original was not present here. Their voices are so clear, like only one of all of them had a raspy voice. You thought I was gonna say they weren't good were you? NOPE 😂. They did amazing and they have good voices. It's just, mind you, for me, that this song has such a clean beat that really clean smooth voices don't fit. But still, their performance was awesome regardless. The stababilty. The energy. 👍👍👍👍

i'm an army and i admitted that they're good. its hard to sing a song while dancing so hard but they really did their best to sing it

i want to remind you guys that these boys did it all, even singing the second voices, and still you think this is weak??

They did fine, not the best out of the teams but not bad enough deserving criticism. This song would have been so hard to sing completely live and as an ARMY I am proud of them doing a good job. Suwoong did a great though, I might check him out for more.

Hangyul's deep voices and visual 😍😍

I am pretty sure, all the ARMY's who watched this, felt proud of them!!! The harmonization was on point and it was so brilliant! Of course, singing the rap lines were good too but with a little more swag added, its cool too. Anyway, this is one of the best covers I have ever seen

y'all don't forget that they only had *one week* to learn the song and dance. not to forget they're singing *completely* live, without any backtrack and (!!!) it's a hard choreography. I think they did great.

Someone give this group and award! Like seriously, there should be a award show for best bts dance covers, like for reals, bts are sunbae to so many newer kpop groups, and other groups who have been here for longer, bts are actually being acknowledged, im proud.

When they sing together, "FAIYAAAAA~~" it really sounds good!! I got a heart attack because of Hangyul's killing part 1:13 OMG!!! It should be illegal! >//

I think their cover is great tho.REMEMBER THEY SING THIS 100% LIVE WITHOUT BACKGROUND VOCAL!!Even sometimes BTS is lipsync to this for some part but not overall!! As an ARMY i respect them because they cover it great.

Omg these guys are unique! They’re extremely powerful and they sang it their own way. I was expecting it to be identical to the original but actually this is how covers should be done 👏🏻👏🏻

zea9muses no, many korean can't pronounce r because r and l are the same word. Like when RV perform Rookie, only Wendy and Yeri who said Rookie, the rest are Lookie. Or when wendy said A Wonderful World, one of suju member (idk his name) can't understand it. She must spelled it like Wad - O - Won - Dhe - etc.

zea9muses I mean English R, not the 'rrrr' sound. Like in Monsta X - DRAMARAMA, it sounds like dramama llamama llamama hey. Same with Rookie and Romeo.

i'm Army, and i love this performance so much, maybe a little bit lack, seriously just a little bit, but for such a hard song like this, they do it very well. I falling in love to seongjoon btw, he's look amazing.

Army, remember that your fandom and BTS are still generally new, meaning BTS has a lot of sunbaenims and there are fandoms who have been in Kpop for longer than you are. Even big fandoms and super stars are humble and they give support to new idols. You don't have any right to be arrogant or bashing other people's efforts. Your boys are good but they are not perfect, like every other normal human beings. These boys are good, considering their little time to practice, the pressure they are carrying and the fact that before this they had never ever met or worked with each other, but of course they are not perfect

Despite a few vocal missteps I am so appreciative of this performance, especially because it was sang live. As huge of a fan as I am of BTS I have never heard them sing this song completely live (there is always backing vocals particularly on the solo parts) before. Well done guys!

As a music critic I feel like they did an amazing performance! To those saying that it was a weak performance it's not~ it's actually because the song didn't fit them. Their vocal ranges are completely different than the song. To those who are saying it was a bad cover song please stop. You need to shift your point of view where you can see.. that these guys are actually really good singers and dancers! The song- although I'm really happy and proud that they chose to cover BTS' song- didn't help a lot to show off their vocals~ but I'm hoping this unit can get lots of love & support. Each unit deserves some judgment to help them better but don't compare them to the artists of the original songs~ thank you! Anyways!! Hehe they did an amazing performance! They added their own originality to the song and ahhh I liked it!! FIGHTING!! >~
