John Denver was about 25 years old when this was recorded. He always looked younger than his age. Time changes us as I can see from my babyfaced 20's to now, but John Denver will always look young in my memory.

I thought the harmonies on this were so beautiful. The three of them have such a beautiful blend to their voices. Michael's lead vocal is so sweet, but when all three of them are going at once, I just get goosebumps. Thanks so much for posting this.

This is a great video, but let's give Michael Johnson his due credit. He is the lead singer on this one- Chad Mitchell wasn't present here. It was Johnson, Denver, and Boise. Michael Johnon gave it everything on this one, and the trio was great.

I introduced this song to my daughter - this beautiful version. She and her roommate have their own youtube channel and the Denver, Boise, and Johnson cover inspired them to cover it themselves. The dying days of the Chad Mitchell Trio - at a point where they weren’t even allowed to use the name anymore. They just don’t make music like this anymore.
