    Great video. I think this is what my dentist recommended for me. I don't know, he kept calling it a roundhouse. Basically what happened was 2 years ago I had some work done, had a treatment plan, couldn't afford said treatment (one root canal and crown, 6 fillings), and everything got much worse. I'm kicking myself, I probably could've done the fillings one at a time, then the root canal and crown after. Now my dentist, who's great, by-the-way, says my teeth are really bad. He said we could do extensive worked and a fixed bridge, but said the problem is I have a track record of not taking care of my teeth, and the bridge is dependent on the weakest link. That if I screw that up the whole bridge fails. So the options were implants for $60,000: not happening, the "roundhouse for $15,000, or an upper denture. But the problem there is the denture closes off the palate and there goes enjoying food, and who wants to take their teeth out at night? I'm 49 and look like I'm in my 30s. So option 2 is looking like what I'll have to do. I'm 3/5 of the way there with the money, and my teeth aren't in pain, so my plan is two save the rest then go do it.

    I'm in a similar boat, take it upon yourself to go to Cancun Dental specialists, take a loan, take a vacation and get yourself sorted out for less than half the price of America or Canada. They wanted to charge me 60k plus in Canada for the same thing I got in mexico for 20k plus hotel and plane tickets, but it was worth every penny. I'm half way done, I have the screws, no teeth yet, going back in July for the rest. Teeth are important, it's worth a few years of financial struggle to get it fixed. Especially if you're still young. I've been toothless since I was 22, arguable the best years of life, I've hid and been anti social because I look like a fuckin retard, can't wait to get these teeth again. Western dentists are absolutely garbage compared to dentists at Cancun Dental Specialist, I didn't drip a single drop of blood after my procedure in cancun. I bought an office size water jug to rinse after the surgery, and I bought towels just for the anticipated blood, but there wasn't any, and there was NO pain till I got back on the plane, due to the pressure I assume, I'm a little pussy when it comes to dentist pain, but I shit you not, I didn't even need an advil until I got back to my country several days after the procedure.

    Hi there, thanks for your comment. At our clinic we see lots of patients who have poor or thinning jawbones and are concerned that they might not be able to get dental implants, however this is usually not the case. At our clinic we use Zygomatic Implants which are longer than standard dental implants that instead of relying on jawbone, transverse the poor area of your upper jaw to anchor into the underside of the cheekbones from the inside through the sinus space. You can read more about this: allon4.com.au/all-on-4/zygomatic-implants Of course, we must see you first for a consultation to make sure that this treatment is suitable for you, you can book an appointment at one of our clinics here: allon4.com.au/contact-us We hope that this information helps and we look forward to hearing from you soon :) If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 1300 255 664.

    How u goin to decide on the day of surgery whether or not you need to bone graft when you can do that on a 3-D scan?

  • @allon4clinics

    @allon4clinics

    14 күн бұрын

    Hi there, At the patients initial consultation ( before surgery is planned) we take a CBCT so that we can see the bone density/previous dental history ( if you have had any other implants/ dental work before etc) so that we can determine the best course of action for you. We will be able to tell immediately what type of implants you will need ( eg. standard or zygoma) or if bone grafting is potentially needed etc. Sometimes, we cannot determine if a patient will need bone grafting or it will be 50/50 until we get into surgery. We might have to make that decision on the spot, however we always make the patient aware before that this is a possibility and the potential added cost that they should be aware of. As much as we plan for the type of surgery we will do, there is always a possibility that we get into surgery and the bone quality is worse than we expected etc.

I've had all on 4 , top and bottom jaws and my own teeth extracted in Turkey last November 2021 Every thing seems to be okay with my temporary fixed bridges . But the top temporary bridge seems to be a tiny bit loose just a little with a clicking noise ? when I press it up with my fingers . Is this normal please ? I don't seem to have any infections and swelling has gone down with just a little discomfort at times. I take regular mouth washes and salt water too. I will appreciate your knowledge immensely Kind Regards from Dennis London.

    Hi Matt. If you already have poor or thinning jawbone , we have a different type of implant called Zygomatic Dental Implants which are used. You can read more about this here on our website: allon4.com.au/all-on-4/zygomatic-implants. It's a very common procedure that is done as a lot of patients find themselves with poor or thinning bone. If you would like to know more about this or have any questions, you can give us a call at 1300 255 664, or you can book an initial consultation with us. In the consultation we will take x-rays and assess your current dental situation and give you a detailed outline of a treatment plan. You can do this by making an appointment with us here: allon4.com.au/contact-us.

This is important as we can assess and see if you are suitable for the treatment given the condition that you have; and if so you might have to be referred to a specialist to see if they can be removed (if possible) before having the treatment. Hi there. There are a few options you could consider. Implant-Retained Dentures: This is essentially a denture you clip on and off dental implants using denture abutments. As little as two dental implants can support a lower denture and four implants can support an upper denture. Just like full removable dentures, these overdentures need to be taken out for cleaning and overnight. ( Benefit: Less expensive than All on 4 Dental Implants). Full Removable Dentures: This treatment alternative has the longest history of providing patients with replacement teeth to improve their smile, enable chewing, and make speaking easier All On 4 Dental Implants: Removal of all teeth replaced with 4 dental implants, bother upper and lower ( what our clinic provides). Dentures are obviously the cheapest option, but we understand that they are not necessarily everyone's first choice, which makes the decision a bit more difficult. You could get implant-retained dentures which is similar to All On 4 but cheaper. All On 4 Dental Implants are overall the better choice as they provide full functionality and are permanent, they don't come out and are of a better quality than dentures. Payment options available at most places that do All On 4 Dental Implants, but it is up to you. We hope this helps :)

    11 ай бұрын

    Hi there, it is normal for the temporary teeth to feel a bit bulky and uncomfortable, as they are not as well produced as the permanent teeth. So when you do get your permanent teeth, they will feel a lot smoother and better in the mouth, so the feeling you are experiencing is normal. However you shouldn't be in pain, so if you are, it is best to have an appointment with your dentist.

The best thing to do is to book a consultation with one of our surgeons so they can assess your situation and discuss all relevant treatment options with you to make a plan moving forward. The surgeon will take a 3D x-ray which will show the teeth and bone levels, then they will assess the prognosis (health) of the teeth, the bite, the aesthetics and discuss with you what your goals are, and what you would like to achieve. From here, they will give you a treatment proposal and start the process of your journey. Acrylic teeth will need to be changed every 3-5 years ( potentially longer if looked after) and zirconia teeth will have to be checked and changed every 5-7 years, again, this can be longer if they have been looked after. However the titanium implants in your gums will be there forever. You can read more about this here: allon4.com.au/all-on-4/teeth-options-zirconia

At first it may feel uncomfortable at first but if you have had your temporaries in for 2 months, it will likely feel the same- it will just look better. Good luck :)

    Hi there. This is why we must have an initial consultation with our patients so that we can determine if this treatment is the right solution for you. During the consultation, we will take x-rays and a CBCT scan so that we can have a look at your bone quality and current dental situation, which will help determine a specific treatment plan. We also ask for a detailed history including if a patient is a smoker etc. With all of the information presented in front of us, we will make a decision if this treatment would be suitable for the patient, and majority of the time it is. Our highly experienced dental surgeons will never make a call to go ahead with the treatment if they think there is a risk that could appear. There are however some things that are out of our control such as the implants failing. There are no guarantees or warranties in medicine, as well as risks/complications associated with surgery. Whilst rare, complications are still possible ( like any surgery) and your surgeon discusses these possibilities in the initial consultation. We cannot guarantee outcomes, or foresee how the body will accept the implant/s. Whilst we do everything possible to improve prospects of success, there are also determinants of the patient that can interfere with this, such as uncontrolled diabetes, poor cleaning/maintenance or smoking, just to name a few. Failures are rare but should this occur, the surgeon will assess the situation and plan forward for the next step (such as revision surgery etc). We hope that this information was helpful.

    Hi Mikey, Yes we do zirconia teeth, however it is only offered as an 'upgrade' as it is a stronger material that some patients may need due to wear of the acrylic teeth they originally started with. @@mikeyjay008 We do not provide zirconia straight up because it is very heavy on the mouth and jaw and really should only be used as a last resort. Even for someone like you who has bruxism, there is no certainty that you would wear down the acrylic set. We would monitor your progression at the regular maintenance check ups and if we did see signs of wearing, there are other things we can try first ( eg. anti clenching Botox, which is usually very effective.

    Hi Bobby, All On 6 ( the use of 6 implants instead of 4) is rarely used. When it is used, it is because a patient has little to no jawbone and the extra 2 implants are used to create more stability and support. We wouldn't say that it is better- it is just needed if a patient has poor or thinning jawbone. Most patients just require All On 4. We hope this helped answer your question- if you would like to find out more you can visit our website at allon4.com.au/

    Yes. Our clinic specialises in immediate final teeth within 1-2 days. The teeth will be extracted and implants will be put in your jaw in surgery on day 1. 24-48 hours later you will get your final teeth inserted into your mouth, there is no waiting or recovery time. You will then need to come in for appointments down the track for reviews and hygiene check-ups, but you will have your teeth a day ( or two) after surgery.

    Hi there, person experiences differ from person to person but typically pain is not a common complaint. In fact most patients report that they have not taken the pain medication that we prescribed. Most procedures are done under general anaesthetic, so you are completely asleep, but we still use local anaesthetic to completely numb your entire jaw to reduce the chances of post operative pain. It's normal to feel some discomfort while you're recovering, but over-the-counter pain medication is usually enough to keep you comfortable.

This includes having in depth discussions with our patients so understand their history ( is they are a smoker) etc and identifying anything that could potentially increase the risk of implants failing. We then make the best judgement on how we approach the surgery. If there was an issue that make come up after surgery then we would sit down with the dentist and assess what would need to be done ( such as revision surgery).

    Adding permanent teeth the next day isn’t good because you have swelling and when it goes down you’re going to have gap between gums and teeth. Better to have permanent be put in 4/6 months later with less of a gap

  • @allon4clinics

    @allon4clinics

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi there, adding the teeth 24 hours after surgery does not create a gap between the gums and the teeth. If a patient is swollen ( which is a natural and common reaction to have) the teeth will still fit but they may be a bit tight and feel slightly uncomfortable. After a few days when the swelling goes down, the teeth will go back to it's normal fit. Additionally there will always be a small gap between your gums and the teeth so that you can clean between them with floss, waterpik etc.

    Hi there, if you have poor/thinning bone, we are still able to give you dental implants. We use specific implants called zygomatic implants which are specifically made for this reason. You can read more about this on our website here: www.allon4plus.com.au/all-on-4-plus/add-ons

    I'm considering this procedure. Want to clarify a few things: 1) Is there a minimum age recommended (I am 39) 2) I do Muay Thai kickboxing (not fighting) Will I need to get a special made gum/mouth guard if I want to continue my martial arts training? Thanks

    Hi Carlo. There is no age restrictions or recommended age- it all depends on your dental situation. It's best that you get in contact with us or make a consultation ( you can do this here: allon4.com.au/contact-us) so that we can see your current dental situation discuss how All On 4 would impact on your everyday routines ( including your martial arts).

    Hi Raphael, The All On 4 implants are inserted into the gums therefore they are permanent and will never become loose. We create our teeth to feel and act exactly like regular teeth ( meaning you can eat, speak normally without any discomfort or pain!) If you would like to know more about other patient experiences you can view some of our other video's we have created to help get an understanding of the process they went through and how they felt! : kzread.info/head/PLxlGYSvRUD9VfgEfuBQq0CqUWnTJfL1lv

    Hi Lena, the conversation surrounding price is common, especially when affordability may be an issue. We offer a number of payment plans and finance options to give people the best chance of receiving the treatment, which you can view here (scroll to bottom of page): allon4.com.au/dental-implant-cost. In Australia, if you have Medicare and private health insurance, you might be able to claim some amount back from that aswell. Our staff will always be happy to have a chat with you to explore options- just give us a call at 1300 255 664. Additionally you can contact us through our website: allon4.com.au/contact-us

    I had all my upper teeth pulled for this and payed over $30,000 - like one in about fifteen of us, mine never fused to the bone. The risk was not accurately represented to me before hand. Toothless and poor by choice? You don't get your money back. Dentures might never work after.

    all on 4's remove a lot of upper bone and lower to for their product to fit and then they're not easy to clean- no thanks. 3 on 6 are much better.

    Hi there. This is not true. The only reason/s why bone would be removed is to get rid of any infected bone or to smooth the bone where the remaining teeth were (alveolectomy). Bone is essential to ensuring that dental implants integrate properly, therefore there is no need to remove any bone. In fact, a lot of patients come to us who have poor or thinning bone that need Zygoma implants to have the treatment, which is a lot more complicated than your standard All On 4 treatment. You can read more about this here: www.allon4plus.com.au/all-on-4-plus/add-ons

    @allon4clinics i have watched many videos on all on 4's from professional and honest dentists. It is of convenience to the dentist to favour this type of installation because it's easier to perform unlike the craftsmanship of, say, fixed implants or fixed bridge implants or 3 on 6 which has a much natural look and without removing bone. Even if there isnt infected bone, it is still removed for all on 4's. The dental industry pushes the all on 4's because of the profits they make and easier to do compared to other procedures. The all on 4's have a higher rate of breakages including infection due to the difficulties of cleaning, where the industry hides this kind of data.

  • @AbXy-rg2th

    @AbXy-rg2th

    @allon4clinics btw, isn't the dental industry ethics meant to encourage bone and gum preservation at all costs and not destroy it? It is the profits and the ease to perform that favour the all on 4's.

  • @allon4clinics

    @allon4clinics

    7 ай бұрын

    Hi@@AbXy-rg2th , we appreciate your interest but must make it clear that we do not remove bone for the sake of it, we only remove what is required. Bone is needed and essential for implants to be used and to thrive- so the fact you state that we are unnecessarily getting rid of it is somewhat confusing and false. As we mentioned the only reason why we will remove bone is to create a smoother and more even surface ( alveolectomy) where the previous teeth were; as this is standard procedure in all All On 4 cases. However this amount of bone does not come at a compromise to the patient and will not affect how their implants will integrate. The reason why this is done is to make the cleaning process much easier for the patient ( when they have to floss, use waterpik etc, ) so that there are no ridges that food could get stuck in. In terms of failures and infection, higher implant failure rates can be for a reason such as a persons dental history ( smoker, uncontrolled diabetes, body may reject implants). Yes, failures can occur due to lack of cleaning and maintenance, however this is a result of the person, not the implant/treatment. It is the patients responsibility to thoroughly clean their implants. We give them all the tools and information to make them informed of what is required and how to clean properly ( with the right demonstration it is very easy to clean, just takes a bit more time than your usual clean). There is no excuse that the implants would fail, other than people can't be bothered taking the time to clean them properly- that's a personal choice.
