In this video we take a look at a faulty retro 1992 (I initially thought it was late 80's) Denon PMA-350 stereo amplifier. This unit has a some minor issues with sound distortion on the volume control and issues with the balance controls. We will disassemble the unit, to allow access to the components. We can then fault find the issues and carry out the work that is required. This should then hopefully rectify the problems.

The Denon PMA-350 Amplifier is a really nice sounding system, Which reminds me a lot of the NAD 3020. Which is a good thing.
Vintage & retro amplifiers are getting quite collectible. They produce a good quality sound and the build quality of the units feel good.
Obviously with any older Hi-Fi equipment, They need servicing to keep working as they were intended.
This particular amplifier was purchased recently with the issue, In the hope it can be restored back to the former condition.
These Sony amplifiers are beginning to become quite collectible, So it is worth keeping them from going to scrap..
