Well done for an amazing review, I've had mine for two months now, and it's perfect. I've played in BIG gigs and weddings and next to other DJs who have monster controllers, mine just looks like a toddler and doesn't catch any eyes of the novice, but the big boys DJs, come around it and are amazed at what it can do and how portable it can be. The best feature for me than others, is the Tidal, Spotify, iTunes, Soundcloud, etc, integration. If I had the cash, I would buy another one just to have them side by side when I DJ.

hey Aluzion TV hands down your video is the best ive came across on utube. im on the fence about buying it and have been watching lots of reviews and most just show themselves mixing SMH you breakdown the most important part (the screen & its settings) thanks for an awesome video sir :-)

Thank you so much for recognizing all the hard work. It’s means a lot and as always my goal is to help people. If your on the fence about buying one. I would say make sure you get it from somewhere with a return policy. If you already have Prime players and want something more portable than yes I think it’s a good addition if you can afford to drop the money. But if it’s your First Prime player I would say to get something else. The prime experience is better on the prime 2/4 or media players.

@@AluzionTV I dont have anything prime, BUT I'm a denon guy through & through. as most all my controllers are denon gear..the prime go is going to be 100% only my ceremony rig. I'm 200% only a wedding DJ so I'm in the process of redoing my ceremony gear. trying to downsize and carry less stuff 😉 my one concern is the brightness of the screen. some DJs say since it lays flat. its hard to see in direct daylight ? and most of the tyme I'm setup in the sun. no canopy because the ceremony is pretty short. so have you used your in direct sunlight ?

Awesome review. Deck color? Why would Denon add that feature. Never the less, you've talked me into getting one. I love the Denon products. When I got my first SC5000, I stumbled on the Dual layer function and made quite a few mixtapes. That just motivated me to get another one sooner than I wanted to. Keep it up.

Fantastic review, and what a piece of kit! There's not much on the market in terms of digital decks which don't require a computer and are fairly compact. The SC Live units dropped the Aux in which seems like a bizarre omission. Even this unit has it, and it's tiny! The only thing that puts me off this is the lack of EQ on the mics, the small touchscreen (clumsy fingers!) and no facility for an internal hard drive. I'm still tempted, though...
