Sad to see one of the best controllers I've had discontinued. Such a balance of every function a DJ needs.

still using the mk1 version with Traktor.. its has the ultimate built quality its so compact and very well integrated with Traktor. Although I have Traktor S4 controller now I will not sell MC6000, such a beast !!!

You have your head in the way on half the demos. I have this contoller and still learning what it does after a year and with your head in the way I'm still learning unfortunately.

I wish there was an option to put the mic channels on faders 3 & 4 (the 2 outer faders).

Traktor - Internal / External Question. I keep reading conflicting info on this important point which is potentially a deal breaker for me. I want to use the MC6000mk2 with Traktor Pro. I understand that mixing must be 'internal' to use Traktor with this hardware. Is this true? I want to have an iPod connected to one of the mixer channels as a back up. Will having the unit in 'internal' mode prevent the use of external audio sources? I've heard people saying that the MK1 could mix between Traktor channels and external sources but the MK2 forces you to 'lock it down' into internal mode. Can somebody please explain all of this to me? I want to buy one instead of replacing my faulty Kontrol S2 but this issue is bugging me.

Any midi controller is compatible with traktor...
