Yeah, I know them. Will do if I have a chance. I was also thinking about Teac VRDS 20, it looks interesting to me.
The same exact transport with the 4 times more expensive s10 mk2. This laser fails easily.
Honest question… Is a player this old still good in 2023? Do they sound as good as newer cd players? Like the denon 600/900ne or the Marantz 6007/cd60

Very good, I used to have it. Better build than new base models.
Is the higher model compared to the DCD 1560?

Denon uses model numbers randomly. 1560 is a 10 years older model with a multibit DAC and Sony CD mechanism
