I been thinking update my old Sony STR-DH750 7.2 amp to Denon AVC-S670H 5.2. Using PS5 to watch 4K movies. PS5 is connected directly to XGimi Horizon Pro projector and projector other hdmi port connect arc to Sony. PS5 didn’t work directly connected to Sony amp. Wonder if Denon would be good option use with PS5 and projector. I understand old Sony won’t support all audio formats that’s used with 4K movies?

Pozdrav Ivica! Po meni najveća razlika je u dizajnu - sve ostalo od kvalitete zvuka, povezivosti itd. je vrlo slično ako ne i isto. Daljinski također, tako da najbolje da odabereš onaj koji ti se više sviđa.

So VRR is not working with this one or was it fixed?

What 5.1(entry level) speaker system is recommended for this AVR? is Wharfedale DX-2 a reasonable choice? Any others in that price range? (available in EU)

Haven't listened to those but from the specs and from all the awards they've received they seem to be a good choice in this price range. Don't know how powerful this subwoofer is, but perhaps for your needs / environment it will be sufficient.

Did you end up getting VRR to work? Perhaps there is a update that Denon has put out that may fix the issue?

Hey, I did manage to get it to work on the AVC-S660H unit, but not immediately but after I've toggled on/off HDMI passthrough option in the AVR. What's your experience?

@Darko - Confused about 5x135W. My S660H says 75W per channel. ??

Read the power consumption on the back. Take 65% of that as class AB ( roughly the efficiency) then divide by 5 channels and you get about 44 watts per channel all driven. Which is closer to reality. You can't get more power out than you put in from the wall. I just bought one it suits me fine

Pozdrav imenjace imam par pitanja,imam Sony Dn840 7.2 risiver i posto je iz 2013 godine i ne podrzava 4k 60hz sliku nego samo 4k 30hz planirao sam uzeti bas ovaj denon risiver.Pitanja su sledeca koliko ima snage znam da je 135w po kanalu tj 75w na 4oma nego ovako u radu i koje kutije koristis,meni treba iskljucivo za 5.1 sistem njega bi povezao na komp,na ps5,na tv i na d3 i sve bi usao preko njega kako sliku tako i zvuk.Vidim da te zajebava vrr pa ne znam jesi resio taj problem?Ja bi uzeo risiver sa kojim ne bi razmisljao da li radi ovo ili ono nego da budem siguran da sve radi kako treba.

Will the Polk S50 Floorstanding speakers work properly on this receiver???

Yes, they should work without any issue.

I just got a Denon 2800 to replace an old Onkyo, and mine doesn't show "DTS-HD MA" when receiving Master Audio signals - it just reads "DTS-HD." From what I have read, this was a change made by DTS, as word is that their Master Audio decoders no longer include "MA" on the displays.... for ANY brand amp. Can Darko or someone else confirm this?

Po meni jako losi resiveri avr s650h I avr 660h za filmove dobri za slusanje muzike veoma lose, bez basa I to na klipsch rf-35 🙄

Najviše me muči ako kupim ovaj uređaj pa mi tv pravi probleme sa gaming mode na 4k 60h.
