I just learned of Denny's passing and was deeply shocked. My name is Dick Martin and I'm 85 years young, still kicking, originally from Richmond Va..As a kid I was fascinated w/Magic. Saw every Magician, Blackstone.all of them that came to town . Somehow, I worked in a Magic Shop. I had a lot of equipment back then. Then the Army came along, spent 5 years in. 4 years in Europe. When I came home, I asked my Aunt where all my equipment was and she said bugs had gotten into boxes and she threw everything out. I remembered alot, sleight of hand and things, had a Card and Cigarette gimmick which you can't buy now . Lost them. Anyway, I met Denny a few years back and I got back into Magic again.Nothing big. What I could stick in my pocket. I had been wanting to get over to Dennys' and get a few things, just to give me something to do . I was watching KZread magic and watching whats going on today and was thinking of stopping at Dennys when I saw that he had met his maker. God rest your soul Denny. Now I don't know where to go to buy a few Magic things

I was lucky enough to see Denny perform at quite a few conventions. As a dealer he would always steer you towards stuff that was right for you. He truly was one of the greats. Your Denny lecture was fantastic, and this footage is awesome.

This isn't Kenny Driscoll from the Joker's Wild Magic Club, is it? This is Ernie Hampson.
