I'm from the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭 My mom likes this song❤❤ She likes this song too Desert Moon. She was only 16 years old when this song was released way back 1984. She told me that she once heard this song in her neighbor's radio in her boarding house/apartment way back 1984 / 1985.. and she missed her teenager times that she heard this song ❤❤❤ now that she's 55 years old.. HAPPY BELATED MOTHER'S DAY TO MY MOM!! 🥰🥰😘😘🌷🌷🌺

Dennis had such a powerful voice, still listen to this song at least 5 times a week. Absolutely love it.

This song came out in `84, when I was in my mid-teens. Nearly 40 years later, I listen and sing along, and think of the dreams I had as a kid, which ones I fulfilled, and the ones I didn't. The ones I did fulfill, for the most part, are trivial, while the ones I didn't, well, some still hold significance, and others don't. I had never imagined myself drinking a beer in the Eifel Tower, but I did. Never would have thought I would go swimming in the Adriatic Sea, but I did. Never would have thought I would skied for the first time, in the Alps of Austria, but I did. One of my most significant, was that I never thought I would have enlisted and serve in the Army... But I did.

I always knew I would go to France and live in the New Mexican desert one day-decided in 1984 when I was 13. When I was 22 with just the clothes on my back and my baby son, I made it from California to New Mexico and had an incredible experience, during which those mountains and deserts healed my soul and became sacred to me. When I was 38 I met a man who showed me the lesser known amazingly beautiful and cool parts of France. We fell in love and it lasted 9 years during which I went to France multiple times and even though it didn’t work out, it was such an awesome experience. I like the way you roll. If I had advice to give to those standing on the precipice of a grand adventure they’re afraid to start on for what they might lose, my advice would be, think of flying and let go. You’ll never be the same.

i have been listening to this song for almost 35 years. i play it every night when about to sleep. i wish i could listen to this beautiful song for as long as i could. i will turn 78 in December.
