Hi, this video is my 2 Year Special!!!! This video features a 2018 Dennis Elite 6 with an Olympus body (I'm guessing that's not the reason you clicked on the video). This truck has Zoeller Delta Rotating Dimond Bin Lifters. This is one of the last examples of the Dimond system left in England, Wales, and Scotland. Supposedly the Dimond system reduces wear and tear on the bin lifter so that's why a few councils used it but most of them got rid of it. Thanks to the crew for letting me film and if Bromsgrove District Council OR Redditch Borough Council are watching this is for entertainment only and can not be used against the crews under any circumstances. Nice footage. But i wonder why they have MGB lip bins in between the diamonds at all? Doesnt seem to male much sence

They tried so save money by getting cheaper non Dimond bins but it just wastes time for the crews lol.

How come the right lifter works when upside down? Would love to know how these lifters work

Right how it works. One side of the lift is for diamond bins that's the pointy side. When they turn it around it can be used on regular bins like the ones other councils have and the ones they have been buying lately. Hope that helps, feel free to chuck any more questions my way
