Hello Sam. My girlfriend's family is from Cork, but three generations now in England. Her gran made her wear green so much she cannot stand it, but it seems there are Cork folk everywhere. I watch Irish podcasts about football and they were concerned their success might work against Irish born players, as there are plenty more English with Irish grandparents who have better access to funding in their local clubs, after England won the Euros. Good to hear about your football "home" too. Keep that smile going, it is good to see one so genuine, like those tears you spoke of.

Not sure it’s very likely, Fara Williams has been begging Katie to come on and is a personal friend of Katie’s and she hasn’t the time when it suits her and her manager to get together to go do it and she can’t go solo to these type of things per what Fara has said..

love this interview and hearing Denise talk about her World Cup experience! I was in Australia during the group stage of the WC and from what I saw, Ireland had the most support of any country other than Australia... the Irish fans really showed up and it was beautiful to see so many people travel around the world for women's soccer :,)

They picked up a nice little uefa fine for their celebrations not surprised Denise didn’t divulge into what they got up too🤣 and had Dublin airport gardai (police) and fire services partying with them on the runway on the Irish news that night😅
