@daniella s 0.3 for low landing and 0.1 for step. 4 tenths is too much when you're in an EF. Second place were just one tenth away.

@cloud nine She won gold because she was overscored. There's just no way this routine deserves a 9.0 when Sui Lu's was so much cleaner

@@gccstan31 agreed!! The only things i could see with sui lu was a few form breaks and a couple of slight pauses!! And the small hop on her landing!! I think deng was overscored. She had more balance and form deductions!!

She won the gold. Chinese on bb is not the same as the big originals innovators like they was in the past. Now they are just packing as most skills as they can to make big routines and get as much bonus points on the new code. I miss the old original routines. They just look tight and not fluid. But apart from that excellent performance, her combinations are one of the best of the past decade, but no shine.

@@gccstan31 is still posible within the current code to have “original” routines that don’t just look formulated and tight. Sanne Wevers with her bb that gave her the gold in 2016 is a good example 😉.

She got in her own way. She could've connected the L with the full turn. She didn't. Her dismount also cost her some points. She could've stuck her front walkover+BHS SO+ back pike but the balance check and wobble were too huge giveaways to DLL. Unfortunately for Sui Lu, DLL has the reputation of 100% delivery of huge routines in finals when it matters most, like in VT and BB in 2008 TF.

@@tayaz.4211 If you deduce all of that on Sui's routine, you have to be as harsh on DLL's. Sui's routine was much cleaner, she either deserved a higher score or DLL was overscored, period.

@@tayaz.4211 i think deng was overscored here but sui lu lost out because of coaching errors!! Who told her to leave out the turn connections? Had to be her coach!! If you watch 2011 world beam final sui lu was perfection!! I dont know why they altered the routine so much for olympics!! She also had a routine at chinese nationals that was amazing!! But you right about DLL delivering at finals!! At the 2008 olympics tf she pulled those remarkable vaults out of i dont know where!!!

@@chercher304 her coach told her to leave it out due to the consistency. They said if DLL had went up first, they would've included the turns.

And don’t forget they abuse there athletes Tim 🤦🏻‍♂️. Stop glorifying abusive programs. Regardless of outcomes
