Great video sir. One question. When to consider if Direct bilirubin is >15% or not?? I mean if the total bilirubin and Indirect bilirubin is within normal limit then also do we need to assess if direct bilirubin is >15% or not?? Eg.- Total Bilirubin 0.84 Direct bilirubin 0.21 Indirect bilirubin 0.63 Also the pt. had mild increase in ALT,AST and ALP levels. No complaint at the present but has a history of large amount of alcohol consumption in last 4-5 days

Good night sir. This is an excellent explanation of LFT Sir my hba1c 5.4, Bilirubin T 1.8, Bilirubin O 0.6, Albumin 6.1, Total Protein 8,SGPT 98,SGOT 66, Alkaline Phosphate 144.And my USG report is fatty change. Tab teneglip 20 OD and metformin 1000 BD was continued till last month but I have stopped metformin due to low platelet count. Platelet count is got normal after taking vitamin b12 injection. Sir please advise me. Sir can I take pioglitazon for fatty liver? Sir i shall be thankful if you kindly advise me.

Respected Doctor Thank you very much for your valuable vedios to public. My son aged 23 having sgpt 268 and SGOT 143 and other liver enzymes are normal. Height is 175cms weight is 97 kgs.. in US abdomin grade 2 fatty liver. He has no problems. Please tell is he is in danger and how to reduce sgot and sgpt. Hepatitis b,c and hiv 1&2 and ceruloplasmin blood tests are normal. Suddenly he went to Canada for studies and no chance to consult Doctor. Please suggest me that what can do present. Cirrhosis will have small liver and increased heterogeneity in USG And NASH will have Hepatitis and Hepatomegaly

How to interpret lft in case of pregnancy what is normal levels of enzymes? And how cholestatis of pregnancy affect lft.... And how to interpret and treat thank you.
