Thank you from an old retired RT. I remember my first experience with HFV, a jet ventilator. This was about 1985. The patient was an 18 yr. old male. Auto accident with resulting cervical fracture. After a long time on the ventilator, no ARDS whatsoever. Thank you again.

Can pphn recover with high frequency ventilator
Is it necessary to stop the oscillator when doing the functional recruitment procedure?
Does that noise from the HFOV affect the baby's ear drums?

Very helpful. HFOV are far simpler than Tidal Ventilators. Can they be used for COVID-19 patients?
My little sister is slowly dying on Ventilator 😭😭😭😭. Doctors said she doesn’t have long to live. Its been 5 days. Her skin is started to go pail she is in pain. She is only 8 months old some help me
