Ok I know is I can’t eject the machine I assume it’s probably because I need to plug it in first but I’m using the cord with other machines at the moment

VO-1600 owner here I was taken by surprise by the size of this early VCR when it showed at my door

The U-Matic format. It didn’t catch on with consumers, but Sony would have better luck with another format a few years later.

U-Matic fared better with television stations for commercials and ENG, replacing film.

A little better but then JVC has a little secret under their sleeve…

I have a similar videocasette player, but it's hase a few more nobs on the leftern side and has some interesting missing parts in the back. Looks like it was just an accesorie not an actual vital part. Is this machine compatible with standard VHS casettes? Sorry about my grammer English is only my second language.
