Demond brought so much fun and laughter into millions of people's lives in every episode of Sanford and Son. Although millions never knew or got to meet him in person he will always be loved by the millions of fans of the show. He put a smile on my face many times and I'm so glad to see he's living a blessed life that he so richly deserves. God bless him.

Mr. Demond Wilson will always be remembered for bringing laughter into the lives of many people including my own. Watching Sanford and Son was a family activity on Friday nights at 8pm. Memories of laughter with my family will always be a cherished time. Thank you Demond Wilson for sharing your talents and bringing comedy into our lives. God Bless

I always liked "LaMont" in Sanford & Sons, but never knew he enlisted in the Army at the height of the Vietnam War. Much respect for that. And also, much respect for him as a father and a husband. The mansion tour was interesting, but I wish more was covered regarding his military time and that he was wounded. I'm a Northerner, but Valdosta is pronounced Val Das Ta, not Val Dough Sta. I was stationed in GA back in the 1980s and that's how I remember it. I watched every one of those episodes and sometimes re-watched them. Good video! Cheers, Bob

It's amazing how they intertwined their name's on the Sanford and son sitcom, with Lamont giving his real name to Whitman mayo Fred's best friend known as (Grady Wilson) and Redd Foxx using Fred.G. Sanford, which was his real biological brother's name.

Mr. Wilson was a Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient. Did he grow up in Valdosta, I heard the recording say he was dancing in the Apollo at 12 and Broadway at 4 I thought that was in Harlem😮
