😩😩 fellow nerd this episode was astounding

Ill never understand how people can hate cliffhangers. The whole point of a story is to try and invest people as emotionally as possible. The beautiful story writing and animation keeps you on the end of your seat with tensions high. Also the amount of sacrifice throughout the fight just makes it such a better victory, the whole point of upper rank demons is that they are INHUMAN. They should be this hard to kill, and with the ending they chose to use for episode 10, it also shows just how lethal going up against an upper rank demon can be, even with a hashira. We are given relief for a brief moment when we THINK the fight is finally over, only to be thrown back into despair as Tengen warns Tanjirou to run. This really reiterates my point of just how lethal this fight was, and the ending helped to accentuate that. Episode was masterful, ufotable continues to impress me more and more, true masters at work :)

the problem i have with this ep in particular is only becuase im a manga reader i know that like literally no point leaving the ep a 3 minute of nothing at the end. could of just removed the ending and wrapped the whole thing up nicely.

@@gizunoglunmig0801 Yes but for people like me that havent read the manga leaving it where they did is best. It keeps us guessing what happened to everyone after the scythe explosion. It also helps to define the true dread they are trying to achieve, yes they may have cut his head and we get a brief moment of relief, only to be thrown back into that despair with Tengen pleading for Tanjirou to run. It helps to accentuate that victory in demon slayer also comes with a cost. Sidenote: The voice acting and animation on Tengen when he is screaming to Tanjirou was AMAZING and I truly felt the emotion in that scene, I would never give that scene up for an alternate ending, it was sweeter than baby rays 😘

The majority of people that are into Demon Slayer are anime only watchers and it's the anime only watchers that even made it as popular as it is today. Everyone and their mom already knows that this is one of the few anime that's actually better than the manga, and this episode proves just that.

@@kipp3384 Yes, "umareta" as in "was born." Umarekawaru is "to be reborn." "Nando Umarekawattemo". Means "No matter how many times (you) are reborn." I don't know why the translation is wrong for fairly simple things. Maybe they are using a cheap translation company or just missed it. One part that really annoyed me though was at the beginning of the episode when Nezuko asks Tanjiro why he always blames himself, and she talks about their father passing away. The English translation reads like Tanjiro blamed his father for dying, which is completely wrong! In Japanese she was saying it would be like dad was wrong to die, even though he tried his best. She was just saying it as an example.

Ive watched this episode 20 times already like Im totally speechless how UFOTABLE deliver such top notch top tier anime fights ❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

in the manga the reason why Gyutaro didnt pull the scythe out of tanjiro's jaw was because, just like when rengouku didnt let akaza's out of his abdomen, tanjiro was preventing him from taking it out by clenching on to it. which makes that scene in particular way cooler than anything else imo.

Many people actually think inosuke caught up with Zenitsu but they don't understand that he isn't actually pushing daki away it will make it difficult for him to cut her he actually used godspeed to get close to her and also put the force on his hand to behead her so . They are on the same spot daki was when he tried to attack tanjiro and I actually feel Zenitsu could have done it all by himself he didn't need inosuke he literally sacrificed himself for tanjiro that's why tanjiro was the only on who didn't get in the mess while Zenitsu got in the rubble he can also use godspeed twice if he used the first one against daki he could have taken her out solely

no the manga clrs it,ufotable kinda messed up here. in manga as zenitsu been there for such a long time n so got tired,slowed down then daki got the chance to attacc n then inosuke comes frm the opposite side n been able to catch at zen's speed as it got slower. inosuke is no where near at zenitsu's speed not even tanjiro

He wouldn’t have been able to cut through her neck in this scene, though, as Daki’s obi tentacles were gonna strike him, while his own sword had only partially started cutting through; Zenitsu even mentions that his stamina was waning at this time, so he wouldn’t have been able to continue cutting through beyond what progress he had already made.

You just said that Tanjiro won't cut his head off because he feels sympathy towards the demons simply means you don't understand Tanjiro. Back in season 1, he clearly states that no matter what happens, he won't hesitate to kill the demons who harmed humans despite them being a tragic creatures.
