They usually smile and act friendly. A sudden change in emotion (especially for the cowardly Zenitsu) would make them terrifying. I think that Zenitsu’s and Mitsuri’s is the most terrifying though. It seems like Zenitsu’s awake and somehow mad to the point that he no longer knows fear. Mitsuri looks like she’s about to start hunting people down and go beserk, as if her calm and collected smile is the last bit of her sanity remaining.

Douma he's usually the most jovial demon ever, he takes everything you would do with face value but the moment you piss him off that's when you know you screwed up, Big time.

Douma is scary when he gets serious! Mitsuri and Kyojuro are also scary and Sanemi is less scary when he's not smiling! :O
