Need to play each of the boards at least once. After completing a game on a board, you will get a certain set of mini-games and demon battles unlocked. Turn count doesn't matter either and you don't need to have played it to unlock it. I just did 5-turn games on each board and got everything that way.

Makes me think that there'll be Mario Party but all Smash Fighters includes(sorry Waluigi)

The game does have an English audio setting. I just chose to do Japanese audio since that is what I'm used to.
