[ INTRODUCTION ]
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA's JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.
The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.
Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba To the Swordsmith Village World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba To the Hashira Training was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 140 countries and regions - surpassing the previous year's release. With the TV adaptation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc confirmed to begin airing in May, a new chapter is about to unfold.

The fact that they got the voice actor back just for this one bit was actually very wholesome, this right here marks the end of those Taisho secrets that we used to get after every episode and I couldn't think of a better way to end it

Rengoku was only in the story for like an arc. Plus there are a lot of deaths in JJK that hit waaaaaay harder than Rengoku's. Like Nanami. He was in the series much longer than Rengoku was and had a far bigger impact when he died.

yet people still under estimate him he helped to train both mitsuri and tengen then he became friends with them and still saw them as equals although he was self taught kyojuro put his heart into becoming a hashira for his father sake to save him from despair and his brother

@strikerstratos Mitsuri has said that Rengoku was like a brother to her, so I doubt he'd be jealous. Even if not, given that SPOILERS Rengoku's father saved him from the snake demon holding him prisoner, he probably wouldn't hold ill-will towards Kyojuro like that.

As wholesome as it was, that shot of the dark hallway where Rengoku's voice came from was creepy
I absolutely love that the studio brought rengoku back to add gravity to the situation. What I don’t like is that the studio is saying the infinity castle arc is the final final battle, it’s a big fight, but it’s not THE Big Fight.
