This time, I challenged in a character figure with limited motion called “Nendoriod”. I was excited to see what awaited me when I shot Tanjiro’s water breathing form in stop motion. For the effect of water spraying out of the sword, I used blue and white colored tape. In some cases, I did a montage.
In today's shoot, instead of making the dolls move, I concentrated on making effects like smoke and lightning bolts. For making smoke, I used cotton, and a minilight for the lightning effect, and some digital effects as well. However, I think using real material creates the vibe, and it's easier than CG. I hope you enjoy!
In making stop motion films, we must put many things into consideration. Animation techniques, stage setting, angles of the cameras and lights, editing and directing skills, and knowledge of the dolls. Sometimes, I wish it would be much easier to control the dolls like in the virtual world. However, there are amusing moments and miracles when there are constraints. That’s the fun part about stop motion that I love.

@Ani Lovedogs thats not horror nor remotely scary, let me clarify, it probably is technically considered a "horror", but there's nothing scary about it in the slightest. When I say horror I mean *real* horror. Edit: anything Tim Burton makes isn't scary.

@@KikonSketches i dont know about you man /girl/manshe/sheman but the concept of the story is kinda creepy and eerie, the characters designs are quite creepy and has some messed up background ,I think it was a book originally,the book was a horror,i think ,did it scare me? Yes it did ,but maybe im the only one If you Think about it being stuck in another world created by a spiderdemon trying to gouge your eyes or maybe just replace it with buttons,trying to kill your family and ghost kids that previously died visiting you asking for help isn’t scary then what is?

@@Akira-vq6vz no one thinks about concept when watching a horror movie, what most people are thinking about when watching a horror is "what's going to happen, how will this scare me", if its creepy or scary you'll feel it just by watching it, if you have to think about it for it to be scary, its not scary. Caroline is a good movie, but not remotely scary in the slightest, nothing eerie, just interesting and cool.
