You win by achieving your goal. Which in Rengoku's case was to protect everyone and in Akaza's case to kill everyone. So Rengoku won.

The movie: Rengoku was weakened by Akaza, eventually dies. The game: Rengoku does OP moves and never even got his HP halved by an upper moon lmao.

i really appreciate japanese voice acting. They can convey emotions like no other. You can really grasp the sadness and frustration of tanjiro in the end. Because of that i watch animes sub. In german it sounds corny most of the time.

Do you speak german? See, i ask because i have this idea that we all love subbed and despise our own language dub because of the barrier itself. When i hear an english actor, i can understand each and every word. When i hear a japanese voice actor i can only hear the voice itself, i do not inderstand the words. I feel as if this creates a psychological effect where we truly listen to the way the voice moves and sounds because we cant understand the words. If the episode is in our language i feel as if we give less attention to the detail of the voice actor bc we can actually focus on the words themselves.

To S rank Akaza it's basically a necessity to get the >75% health bonus and below a certain amount of time, the Rengoku just didn't get the most bang out of his combos and got hit too many times.

This is literally the same formula as Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm and CyberConnect2 hasn't done anything to improve/evolve the arena genre since. This is a huge cash grab. Demon Slayer deserved a real fighting game. This is cool if you're like 14. This is a mediocre party game at best.

@@antitoxicidad758 yes it had, if rengoku just sliced him by cutting the hands, then he would have gone for the head and win and not impale him because at the end it was easy for akaza to got free from his blade and escape

To be completely accurate, the fight should have had infinite phases with each one being harder than the one before (As Akaza gets more and more serious) until the last quicktime event gets triggered when Rengoku falls below a certain threshhold. After the initial attack when he gets punched through, his hp becomes zero, but jumps to 1 again when he hits Akaza in the neck.

I was kinda hoping when he started cutting the neck it'd give you an impossible button mashing prompt with an increasing amount of buttons to simulate just how hard it was for him to hold Akaza there. Using all the strength in his right arm to cut, all the strength in his left arm to block, and all the strength in his core to keep Akaza's arm stuck in his stomach. All with the hope that he could hold him there just a few more seconds until the sun came.

12:27 when that music hit the chills reformed my spine, also the voice acting is outstanding!!! Not many games have good voice acting...

@@bruhmoment3941 why you think they not gone speed through it the manga wasn’t even 4 years long bruh 😂 the anime can adapt more manga pages so it’s probably gone be two manga chapters per episode I don’t see them making this short ass manga in anime form longer than it took to finish the manga if anything they might stretch 3 seasons but the manga doesn’t have enough context and I don’t see them adding filler to this anime at all….they only fight upper moons after ren died and fights in this manga don’t chapters upon chapters until we get to the last 3 uppermoons and muzan

@@keseanlee8219 demon slayler started in 2019 and s2 will basciliy end in 2022 meaing it will take at least 2 more years until the hashira Training arc starts so yes anime is gonna be longer than the manga pretty common thing to happen i dont know why are you do shocked

I didn't watch the series but liked the appearance and powers of Rengoku. After seeing this, I'm hyped af sad that he supposedly didn't get much time in the show to shine besides here.

If only akaza didn’t have a 1.25 dmg multiplier he might be viable competitively

I really felt Rengoku’s desperation and just how outclassed he was in the movie through the sheer difficulty of the fight, not sure if that’s intentional or not but I love it, and the voice acting is amazing.

I walked into Mugen Train knowing what happened (manga reader) and still cried for Rengoku. They did him justice in this part of the game!

I was literally sobbing so hard because of a legend dying 😞

This looks so cool They should make a series about it
