Here's a little fun fact: Inosuke's sword isn't really a sword and shoudnt function as an offensive weapon. Instead, it's more like a sword-catcher. Used to catch the enemy's sword and breaking their form or if their sword is weak enough, even break it altogether.

It's actually regular swords but he breaks it intentionally to look like this. I'm guessing it's so that they look like "fangs" rather than swords made to block and break other sword.

I love how all these other fighters have beautiful and intricate ultimate attacks and Murata is just trying his best. My boy's underappreciated :(

School Giyuu’s actually changes depending on the gender of the character. If the character is male, he straight up slaps you. If the character is female, you see the cutaway of the character not actually being hit (but it’s implied). The dialogue is also different.

Didn't know that every costume has it's own ultimate, attacks and effects. Also it is cool that Sega made boss fights like in Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm and fights with regular demons is you just walk and attack.

The developers must've had a field day when making the unique specials for the school costumes.

This game was just one big passion project Edit: It seems there a bit of confusion on what I mean by that. If you are passionate about creating something, you want to do it justice, I believe. I won't deny that sure, this is basically Demon Slayer Storm, but as I said down in the replies, that doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. It compliments the PVP, and it's clear that the combat has depth, like it should. There's almost always good engagement in a fight, and quite importantly, the game looks like a scene out of the anime. And sometimes it even surpasses the anime itself. I don't see why you'd need to push yourself to make it any different and work harder to make it not a Storm game. The game has personality and style, even if the mechanics are apparently 'recycled' from the producers other games. They found something that works, so if it ain't broke don't fix it is how I see it. Hard work is good, but that doesn't always mean there's passion. I believe we can all think of our own examples of working hard when we didn't want to do something. But for this game, I don't get the sense that there's really any bad aspects from the outside. So now I rest my case.

@@ayf7033 Yes I realize. But they didn't carbon copy it which impresses me for something from Naruto. I mean, a lot of those Ultimates had to be invented, and hot dang those are creative.

1:12 good god, how much of that was even 3D? it all looked like very detailed 2D animation! though looking at it with slower playback, all the flame is 2D but the lighting effect on the model during the super is perfection since it blends so well.

Dude, that switch between animation and 3d graphs is gorgeous to watch, you can tell how much effort was put into this game. a great game for a great anime i guess.

First ultimate in and already, I can see why Nezuko has a lot of fans. I bet most of us have already been obliterated by her cuteness. xD

Shout-out to CC2's animation team cause man, the fluidity of how these character models move in 3D is fantastic. Even 3D anime has a hard time pulling this off.

I know nothing about demon slayer and never watched a single thing about it until now for about 10 seconds. The fact that they made the fighting style like this reminds me of Naruto UNS and boudakai 3 so I’m on my way to buy it. Thanks for the video!

Usually arena fighters like these (storm, etc.) don’t have a huge competitive scene as these type of games aren’t really as deep and complex as a traditional anime fighter (guilty gear, BB, melty, etc). still fun tho.
