I always thought Demon Soul's was considered the easiest of the Souls with most of the bosses being entirely gimmicky. All you need to do is find their gimmick to win. Bosses also have less moves and also only 1 form the entire fight. Each boss also has some of the most obvious tells out of the series making them very easy to dodge. Add to that some of the easiest backstab, op magic (really easy to cheese magic), and basically limitless healing items. I mean sure it was the hardest thing when it first released, but compared to the other games it is really easy.

I mean I guess this is more on opinion, I honestly think ds3 is one of the easiest. I would be putting demon souls either average or above average for the games like I mean dark souls beats it just cuz of the anor londo brothers. So yeah I would put it around 2nd

@@koifish1165 DS1 was really easy tho ngl a decent shield and the dodge button trivializes that game. DS3 actually slaps me up like af. I’m new to from soft starting with elden ring and honestly I think ER or Sekiro are the 2 hardest ones depending on how you play both of them. Blind play throughs make both of those games quite difficult in comparison to blind runs of the other games in the series.

@Jbtheg it depends on how you played elden ring. If you used summons/broken weapons then it’s undoubtedly the absolute easiest one in the franchise bar maybe bloodborne. The souls games are probably a lot easier than you expect tho ngl the older ones have way less fuck shit goin on especially with enemies that roll catch or input read or track you after they started their swing.

I would consider Demon souls one of the easier souls-like games, especially the bosses. The biggest reason why people thought it was hard to an insane degree, was that when it came out in 2009 they had never played a game that was anything like it before because there were basically none in the genre at the time.

The only reason I find Demon souls hard is the pathway to most bosses is like having aids with terminal cancer at the same time. The boss themselves aren't that hard once you figure out their moves.

@@TheCosmicFlame0 I didn’t play old hunters but I heard it was hell. The base game is pretty easy and Bloodborne was the first souls game I played. After the blood starved beast the entire game was a breeze for me and I didn’t have to grind that hard. Each boss took max 7 tries.

@@orange9911 the old hunters takes everything that was easy about the game and says fuck you, the first boss of the dlc has been argued to be the most difficult boss in the game, let alone the other bosses, pretty much every regular enemy is a hunter and even if they arent they still hit like a truck

Demons souls was the hardest because it was the first. Having been a veteran since the launch of demons souls on PS3, having gone back now on ps5 it's actually laughable that I struggled on what I did back then. But back then the entire genre was non existent.
