I was listening to this song on my phone yesterday morning when a call came in that my Dad had collapsed while out with friends and he was being airlifted to the hospital. I held him last night as he passed away. He couldn't communicate at all because of his massive stroke, but right before his final breath, he sat up slightly and a single tear rolled down his face. He immediately changed color and went to be with God. Anyone reading this, please reach out to your loved ones and remind them how much you love them as much as possible. You never know when their time will come.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in 2019, he died in a nursing home.

@@dillardc81 I'm so sorry. Yes you look young so I imagine he was too. Unfortunately none of us really know exactly what's going on inside our bodies. I lost my mother many years ago. I can tell you that the grieving process can last a long time but it gets better as you go through it. I hope you have some supportive people around you during this time. That really helps. I wish I had that back when my mom died, I was 17. I hope you have someone there to talk to when you're up for that.

I have to wonder how the people who insisted this band was "Satanic" are handling hearing these same songs in a different genre.

Probably my favorite ballad of theirs, aside from I Am a Stone and Carry me down, which are both shared favorites between my wife and I. The bridge lyric is just so DANG beautiful, and the whole song in general. Love both renditions.

Now this is what I'm talking about. Some of these songs, especially the ones that were soft and gentle already, might actually be worse Ressurected, but the harder ones like Deteriorate are amazing like this.

This song really touches home for me. I wasn't a very nice person most of my life. Anger , depression, and drug use to try to tame that beast. It wasn't until I cried out to our creator for assistance that my life changed. Things around me didn't change ,neither did some miracle opportunity arise. I CHANGED MY OUTLOOK ON LIFE! I seen the blessing before me...in and around me. That's when my redemption began
