My thoughts exactly.

For a long time, Demolition Man was a good but forgettable 90s action flick. But because of 2020 and the "you know what", it's a classic that'll live forever. Now let's be real: it's sucks that we're not far away from the future world of Demolition Man becoming our reality now.

No. If anything, they are given information of what is in store. They release movies like this that way when people see the similarities, the MSM and politicians can just say they are paranoid, conspiracy theorists or watched too many movies.

Damn, this movie, as most any movie, would have been so much more awesome with Jackie Chan as the villain. Taxation is theft. Being governed is being controlled by force. Demolition man was one of the greatest satires ever. Largely the film itself predicates the concept of a fascist utopia; while mainstream society is largely well fed and healthy, content; most individual liberties are painstakingly removed to the point they don't even know they had those freedoms and in the long run they had to coddle and indoctrinate people to accept it. The police uniforms resemble fascistic regime military outfits. The architect of their society; is in reality a crazed power monger who used a criminal to sow chaos to accumulate more power. Despite overwhelming sense of moral superiority among the masses and philosophical upbringing; moral cowardice is ubiquitous. Virtually no one, not even the police know how to defend themselves, nor does society know how to stand up for own well being. In the end, they resorted to savage to curtail another criminal they don't know how to control. Another shot; the films signature greeting "Be Well" isn't a polite. Be well means *Adhere to our societal expectations* or face a fine/punishment.

On the three sea shells thing people are way overthinking it. It supposed to be funny so all ideas on how to use the 3 sea shells seems to also need to adhere to that idea. But there's a perfectly logical explanation and also straight forward (and boring). The three sea shells are nothing more than buttons. Like an advanced Japanese toilet each button performs a function mainly by using water to spray and clean your ass. One standard water button, one with more water and the other to dry. Nothing fancy, easy to use, straightforward.
