I did the same thing with the Cursed Book event. I was in the zone and clicking too fast so I ended up closing it instead. Glad to know even Baalor can make mistakes like that.

I would agree, but if i'm honest I think my subconcious takes over, and I always "oops" Nilry's codex, i'm much more careful otherwise.

As people seem to ask a lot I want to mention that while balatro is largely seen as kinda the main deckbuilder of recent time the game really doesn’t have depth of goal it’s just make number bigger and when it comes to high score runs there is a very specific archetype that you use pretty much every time in some variation so baalor being the strategy fan that he is it makes sense why he didn’t feel the vibe from it

Corruption + FNP + dark embrace. Potion belt + toy orno + alchemize. Boat thingy 1, 2, and 3. Well-laid plans + well-laid plans + getting runic pyramid as a boss relic. Ectoplasm + old coin + mindbloom 999 gold. Me smithing when I should rest + me taking an elite when I should skip + me dying to said elite. Last one is probably the most iconic trio 😂

You can't drink most potions outside of battle, including ones which generate cards (e.g. Power Potion)
