Demolding a Carbon Fiber Skimboard built with Resin Infusion- How many times will Mike get Shocked

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Demolding a Carbon Fiber Skimboard that we built using Resin Infusion in a method to get a 2 sided finish out of the mold system. This system also uses a reusable silicone bag with a heater in it and the mold itself has a resistance heater built into it.

Maybe get those anti-static mats from Grainger to stand on or maybe to place under your working surface?

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that you need a mold for each size and model, which pretty much eliminates customs. Figuring out the molding process is time and materials consuming, although we can help with that. I have been considering doing a mold system for either a short foilboard or a surfboard for kiting…. The lib tech surfboards are made in a similar way.
