Today we are at Gelderland and we have to spread slurry on the fields. We contacted the local dealer for the slurry trike and we managed to get a demo trike. So we jumped into Toyota 4Runner and headed to pick up the new trike. It was waiting for us at the local BGA so we headed there. When we arrived, we parked the Toyota 4Runner and then talked with the manager. They had Vervaet Hydor Trike 5x5 with Zunhammer Vibro loaded onto the Volvo FH16 500 and Schwarzmuller low-loader trailer. We jumped into the truck and headed back to the farm to unload the slurry trike. After we got back, we unfolded the ramps and then jumped into the slurry rike and unloaded and parked it. Then we jumped back into the truck, folded the ramps, and headed back to the local BGA. We returned the truck and trailer and then jumped into Toyota 4Runner and headed back to the farm. When we arrived we parked the Toyota 4Runner and then we jumped into a slurry trike. We loaded the slurry from the cow shed and then we headed to the first field. We arrived at the field and then we unfolded the slurry trike and cultivator and then we set up the GPS for ups and downs. After that was done we started injecting the slurry into the field going up and down. When we got the ups and downs finished we did headlands and then we folded everything back up and headed to the next field. We did everything the same on the second field and we only needed one more load to finish the field. When that was done we returned back to the farm and swapped Zunhammher Vibor for Bomech Track-Pack. Then we refiled with slurry and headed to the grass field to test out the slurry trike in the grass fields. We did one headland and then we did ups and downs until we got the whole field done. Then we did one more grass field the same way we did the first field. When we finished spreading the slurry we returned back to the farm and washed and parked everything. We ended up going through six or seven loads of slurry and covering four fields. We were very satisfied with the slurry trike and how it was doing the work. So maybe in the future we gonna buy one for our farm. It would suit us very well because of our BGA and plans to have a digestate storage. When everything was done we headed inside the house to take a break from long day of work in the fields.
