Brian Zhang is back with another Maton Demo - the Maton EBW70c.
The latest edition to the Maton range is this all solid Australian blackwood series guitar. This great timber combination has a rich, warm and punchy tone while still retaining excellent string separation. Blackwood grows throughout Tasmania and the Otway ranges in Victoria, it is a sought after timber by guitar builders world wide. Closely related to Koa, Blackwoods beautiful definition and rich overtones have made it one of the great modern tone woods. The all Blackwood construction produces a unique tonal compression, blending frequencies into a new, unique voice that has before now only been available from Custom built Koa guitars. Tasmanian Blackwood also provides a nice fundamental tone like mahogany with a bit more complexity like Indian rosewood.
