The RPM1470 is the 14-channel powered mixer, that is sort of like the big brother of the RPM870. It has bluetooth, 16 24-bit Digital Effects, and a LCD display that makes navigating through the various modes a breeze. It has 12 Mono channels and Channels 13+14 make up the stereo channel, that can control, bluetooth, USB, RCA's, and the MP3 Mode. It can send a speaker level signal 750 per channel! and Line level that allows you to go to an active subwoofer or a separate monitor mix. There are inserts that allow you to route to outboard effect processing, and each channel can be solo'ed with a button to the headphone mix. Each channel has a 4 band EQ, and ahead of that there is a 7 band stereo EQ for the Left and Right channels. Basically this mixer is a beast of a machine! Could you guy go over the rpm 870 laptop connection a little slower and more in detail about setting it up and being able to record thanks just got the 870 today and a microphone

What is the rates
I'm looking to buy one of these. Can someone tell me if it's possible to use the USB port and connect it to a PC as a USB interface to record in a software such as Audacity?

I don't think you can, but I would call Rockville Audio to make sure. If you really want a Multi Track Recorder (not to be confused with a USB Stereo Mixer - two different animals) look at the Souncraft MTK (not the MT - you want the MTK. The MT is USB Stereo Mixer. The MTK is a USB Multitrack Recorder, in other words, it records each track individually into your DAW and not simply the Stereo L/R Mix as USB Mixers do).
