So THIS is the man behind 2 of my 3 knives (by absolute chance)
I’m super excited for this model. I really wanted one just a bit smaller than the 20.5, had no idea it was in the works and stopped by their booth at Bladeshow to ask whether they might ever do something like that. Imagine my surprise!Andrew was there and took lots of time to show me all the Cub variations and seemed genuinely interested to hear that I was hoping for something in that size. I hope it’s a huge hit for you and them. Can’t wait.

Agreed ! Definitely getting one
Dude makes cool locks . A DLT trading exclusive with the 20.5 in fat carbon would be awesome 👍. Like the spydercos
New Castle, PA pride!
I work with my brother too and it’s a super collaborative duo with each of us having very different strengths - living the dream!
Really excited for the Shark cub! Will be hard to decide which blade shape to go with! One thing tho, it should be called the shark pup! That’s what baby sharks are called - not cubs
Put me down for a slicer! Love the 2.5" blade length, important if you travel for places like Korea where that's about the legal limit.
Actually, it should be called 🎶 “Baaaby Shark, doo doo do doo do” 🎶
I would like an S35, S45, 20CV or Magnacut standard with Ti handles and a bit bigger than the current 20.5. Hoping this happens and will buy when it does.
Always been a Big Fan of A.D. and I will Always Love my Tri-Ad Locks ....👍🖖
The big pivot and small pivot in the ad20.5, are the blades the same, can I interchange blades?
Great video guys!
Wow this was awesome!
Demko! Make contoured handles for your future knives! Slightly rounded for a fuller grip!
I want that Cub!!! when’s it coming Jason!?
Exclusive will be cool! But gotta say, I love Demko folders for being big and overbuilt, dunno how this will be for me

The Ad15 is my favorite Demko knife.
Should be Shark Pup, there's no such thing as a shark cub lol.

When is it out!?
I would much rather the 20.5 in that slicer grind / spear point. The best all around option IMO.
Which one slicer or shark foot?
My sister is 16 years younger than me also
In a world where tons of makers slap 20CV on stuff that doesn’t make sense, it’s actually a great choice of steel for this type of knife.

It's a titanium folder with 20CV, how does this make more sense than anything else?

@@Knivess0 For one, with a smaller blade length the forces on a smaller blade is less thus toughness is less critical. Just from a smaller "utilitarian" to larger "tactical and abused" shift alot of the m390/20cv in a large tactical blade is pointless. Those will either get used ONCE to dispatch a person or get used roughly where that lack of toughness is at a detriment. Really confounding to see a large folder or fixed blade with m390/20cv but advertised as some tactical or survival or whatever other silliness associated with it. One such is a beautifully executed persian design, the microtech sbk, which makes zero sense. That tip will snap off in the blink of an eye. What purpose does that high edge retention steel have on a fighting knife, or on an outdoors knife where you might use it for stuff like batoning. Are you gonna break down boxes with that? Carpeting? Cut rope at a dock? Nah. Just absolutely pointless (or will soon be anyways).

@@Knivess0 20CV's appeal is it's potential for edge retention and stainlessness, but it can also be fairly chippy. On a smaller, thin knife, you're likely prioritizing cutting performance over hard durability since you're not getting much toughness out of thin blade anyway. For larger thicker knives, durability is likely some factor in choosing it and getting a brittle steel takes away from that. You can get similar cutting performance and more toughness out of tool steels if you're willing to give up some stainlessness.
My girlfriend will love that Shark Cub. She loves my AD20.5 but it’s a bit large for her hands.

Oh, I do not like that they are getting smaller.
Oh wow they made it even smaller😂. The Ad20.5 was small enough. But they actually made it smaller😂😂. Instead of making the Ad20 that everyone wanted available. Crazy! But isn't this shark cub thingy a 3 finger knife for everyone other then the boy scouts??😂 Don't tell me the blade is even thinner then on the ad20.5😂. Amazing. Now you really don't need a strong locking mechanisme anymore with such a thin and fragil blade that breaks easily. I'm just shocked. And Demko was designing all these big Cold Steel knives. Wow true blasphemy. Seems the man (AD) had an accident between his legs and lost some important parts
