Jesse leaving Demi at the altar was in Demi’s imagination. She’s actually the one that left him at the altar. That’s why in the last like 20 seconds you see her walking away and then it shows his face, with people behind him, and then she takes off her ring. It’s a little confusing but if you rewatch the ending you kind of get it. I loved your guys’ reaction tho! Lol

No.. The scene ur referring to is just a memory. It's not established that she left him at the altar. This video is about her needing only herself. That's why she points at the mirror and sings "Everything I need, i standing right in front of me and everything will be alright."

That's my interpretation too! Notice that the guests don't react until she walks away...that's because she's the one who actually left. They don't react when he does it because that's not real.

i feel like him leaving is the representation of her at the altar realizing that she needs to love herself before she tries to love somebody else and commit to something she’s not ready for

She looks in the mirror saying “everything I need is right in front of me” meaning she’s discovered self love and doesn’t need him to tell her that he loves her anymore

Violet Adazé its DEMI the one that leaves him!!! - the night before she is alone and she realizes that they are not ready and she is holding on to him bc he is her safe place but she needs to love herself first. She sings at the mirror " everything I need is standing right infront of me" and she imagines what would happen if he leaves her and realizes that you can not depend on another person like that, so before he leaves her SHE CHOSE TO LEAVE HIM .
