2:05 - 2:19 is my favorite part !!! The build up from there was just so good. I can’t believe Demi carried Disney the way she did. Her vocals are so strong.

It breaks my fucking heart. But at the same time, I’m grateful because she was a role model then and she’s a role model now, especially as a recovering addict. To know that one of my childhood idols has been through things that I have and come out on the other side stronger makes me feel some type of way for sure.

Right? I remember being an insensitive kid to things like self harm or depression. But when news broke that she cut herself i was SHATTERED. I think i was a jerk to hide my own inner pain and stress from not only others but my own self. Kinda sad it took seeing her hurt herself to start seeing self harm as a more serious thing, but it really changed my perspective and made me more sensitive to others pain as well as my own.

Disney version : Hold me Album version : Kiss me. Censorship at it's finest lol 10th anniversary of this song (and the Don't Forget album) later this year. Excited!

The thing is, being too rocker doesn't really get much publicity anymore. It's all about bubblegum pop, and electronic autotuning. i say this as a person who works at a Recording Label, that financially wise, she will get more money and fame by being the way she is now. It's not only that, but she's added a bit of her style into osme songs, like Really Don't Care, but she's also matured now into a young woman, not a teenager like in Don't Forget. So, here comes the more toned down songs, and more serious songs, like Nightingale or Stone Cold.

As a ***** fan myself, I think she sings better when she's having fun with the song. Her best songs are the up-tempo power-pop tunes, with lots of melodies, hooks and guitars.

I used to be ashamed that listened to Disney Channel during my childhood because now I'm more into heavy rock music. But looking back at the Disney music I listen to, I realized that, in part, I was always into the whole rock scene. The songs that I used to love all had guitars and drums foundations. Yeah, they were very popish and commercial but some even have mini-guitar solos. My favorite music videos were the ones that were at concert venues. I really admired Demi Lovato because of her edginess in her outfits. I still do, the leather jacket, skinny jeans, boots, mostly black, etc. I had a decent childhood, and I not really ashamed anymore .

Nowdays Im a little bit older and I learned to just not care. I even like pop music, something to relax. You cant do just rock`n`roll. Thats how I discovered Demi, I was like, "modern pop music, lets hear this shit", was browsing really.. And I`m really surprised, her first album is great! Some kind of "pop-emo".

I used to The Lion King watch It came the summer I was baptized. I love all of those songs. I also love songs from Camp Rock, Strarstruck, and High School Musical.

I love this song. There's no other song I can remember so vividly the first time I heard it. I was in the car, my wife was driving, and this song comes on the radio. I was like, "Who is that?" If the radio announcer said, I missed it. Looked it up on the internet as soon as I got home. Listened to this song on repeat for hours afterwards. I can still play it on repeat and just do nothing else but listen--and watch, if playing the video, of course. I just love how Demi sings so softly right before the 2-minute mark, then at 2:05, she goes all quiet--and two seconds later she hits it so hard, it sends chills down my spine. Every time. I've been a Demi Lovato fan ever since. I'm sad when she goes through the tough times, and proud when she pulls through, coming back strong.

Demi’s one of the Disney singers who can actually sing. Slay, soul sister!

She was a baby here and so beautiful! Sometimes I miss her and want to get back to the old days! But she's better now 'cause she's healthy.

I remember back when this played during almost every commercial break on Disney channel and I crank the volume up on the TV to 100 and start singing along with a hair brush or just sit 5inches from the TV screen in aww of her awesomeness every 10 minutes when another commercial break would come when they showed this for like the 100th time in a single day, was like the first time of hearing/viewing it all over again the memories...

Fede Brigante Back when she had no idea who she was and really wasn't herself, every smile she had was fake and the music didn't describe her or her story. Why wouldn't you want that? Considering being mainstream pop and fake music is really all that sells. She still makes good music-correction- she know makes great music. And real fans knows it's her now.

Summer Raine unfortunately she doesnt in my opinion and her voice is ruined too, she had the best live vocals EVER, but sadly she fell into all that mess in her life. Now she isnt number 1 as she was before. Im such a fan of her first 2 albums, then her music was very good but not AMAZING like in her disney era. Now Ari is the number 1 LIVE.

Fede Brigante Ariana has amazing vocals I am not going to deny that, but Demi is a powerhouse, she can still hit all those notes, people seem to forget she went on 4 tours in less than a year, I seen her life last March and she was amazing, it was before all the touring that year.

Fede Brigante I loved heart attack album but she sounded kinda depressed mixed with she's letting go which I love. She's getting over it the poprock kinda lights up the lyrics so it's danceable. But here we go again nd don't forget with sad instrumentals and see.
