One’s “flyweight” division is actually 135. DJ essentially went up a division and challenged a much bigger and more powerful Moraes because he wants to prove he’s the best in the world. Went on a record 11 consecutive title defense streak in the UFC and never got the recognition he deserved, hope he’s making way more money fighting for One because he deserves it

From what I understand, excessive weight cutting isn't allowed in One, as regular hydration tests are performed on the fighters. This would mean that DJ had no choice but to move up to 135, if he was cutting a lot of weight previously to make 125 lbs in the UFC.

@@dannyhoang410 no I'm well aware height/=weight and size. But moraes clearly is much heavier here. Yes they do "monitor" weight in 1fc with hydration testing, however notoriously they do not release the data of their tests or fight night weights of their fighters and furthermore they're very notoriously a business that exists largely to launder money. Given this information it's safe to conclude that trusting them to just "monitor" the fighters weights is unreasonable. And DJ is clearly the much lighter fighter here. He's not only shorter by 6 inches or more but he's not wider and not more muscular than his opponent. Very clear weight disparity I would say 20lbs. 155 vs 135. Not a fair fight and it's honestly disgusting.

Same as me thinking those “ranting” as you put it “years later” are free to do so, I’m free to call out how it’s bs to say he didn’t know the rules. If ppl still think that, no matter how much time has passed, that deserves being challenged. I spoke to specifics of the fight that tied back to those points. @@CYMotorsport If you call me a kid, ill call you a boy. Do not bring race into this for no reason besides you believe its going to push me back from the argument. Especially when it was just a way to call you a child for calling me a kid which a lot of people can see you comment as childish. Its not embarrassing for me. It should be embarrassing for you as you can not move past something that has been over with for years. Something that the people who argued before or “ranted” before even quit on. The topic was dropped because it was unnecessary for them to continue as they knew either they were wrong or just stopped caring because they really had no attachment to the situation. If this was a current topic, make your rants. Argue that it was his own knowledge that led him to lose or just him losing. Great. I have no issue with someone calling out another, or debating. You though are randomly just bringing stuff up as if it were still relevant. This is not like a big sad moment in history we need to look back upon and comment on again and again. This was not you or someone else coming together to debate the result of a match, or what had occurred. He lost. Flat out lost. The one thing me and you can agree on. You are basically bringing back a topic for no reason almost to start something. If you had said, “Man, How could people have argued against this?” That is one thing. You blatantly brought a topic over with and worded it like you wanted to argue or call out those who probably don’t care anymore. There was no argument to be had or real, “points” to head back to as you all them. The specifics you refer to in this fight can be pulled out and isolated with no debate. He was knee’d in the head while on the ground, which is allowed in ONE FC. Thus, nothing is wrong. Furthermore, there is a reply feature for a reason and if you are not embarrassed to post something that blatantly awkward and childish, you should have no issue with me calling you out for it as you claim is ok. I am arguing your rant was pointless, and you are fighting for it. What we are doing now makes more sense than what you did. If it was a personal matter I would have responded to you directly. This is KZread though and Idk why you would do such. So, as it is not a personal matter and you feel people can be called out, why can I not call you out? I responded in accordance to your awkward post. There was nothing adult about it. It was not even a goofy or funny comment. It was just unnecessary and childish.

@@The2010DC I’d stay away from calling black ppl “boy” just a heads up. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Just because YOU find a way to be embarrassed by something doesn’t mean that’s correct. It just means you need to maybe see someone about your anxiety all due respect. I wasnt just commenting back to strangers bitching directly to them. You’re telling a stranger directly to “stop crying”. Speak to me like a grown up or don’t address me at all. When I want to speak directly to you you’ll know bc I’ll do it on your channel when you get one.
