He's like a top 40 player but a zero in the playoffs. He's overrated by ppl who look at PPG cause his defense and everything else is pretty bad. Been clutch in the regular season tho

Don’t get ahead of yourself. The Kings still need another lengthy forward for defense. Keegan is good but he can’t be required to play both ends of the floor every night. His shooting dipped because he was guarding the opponent’s best wings last season. Someone else needs to take on that responsibility so he can give more energy to offense.

By taking the salary away from the bulls. This trade needed a 3rd team to make it happen, and kings wanted to trade barnes. The unprotected pick swap was an incentive to take on barnes salary.

Barnes isnt important here. As a kings fan, the huge gift to the spurs is that pick swap.... in 2031 spurs will likely be title contenders and kings might be on the decline.

If Fred Van Vleet and Dillon Brooks can make a team with Sengun and Jalen Green a 40 win team, there's no way that Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes can't do the same with Wembanyama and Vassell. Plus they got Castle who is one of the best perimeter defenders and playmakers in the entire draft

No way DeRozan was signing a mid-level deal The is a deal, if you're the Kings, where you want to win now, and you see a chance in the West, if you add a true scorer. Deal works great for Demar. Imagine if the Lakers never signed LeBron. All of the players he got rid of would now be in their prime. LA would actually be a menace and still had room to sign free agents. LeGM ruined the Lakers. But at least they signed the nepo baby.

Resigning Malik Monk was the most important factor in Sacramento.

Derozan will be taking that Shaun Livingston type of role for the Kings. Livingston would come off the bench for the Warriors and knock down a couple midrange shots which were crucial during their championship days. I’m looking forward to seeing the same thing in Derozan and him coming off the bench for the Kings.

Of the Sea DeRozan - a good ballplayer, that mid range work is a thing of beauty, but mans really needed to be born at least a generation earlier if he wanted to be elite. His agent as smooth as his middie for scoring this nice little twilight of career California vacay/ bag combo.
