She isn't just delusional, she's absolutely cruel. These girls were upset, confused and terrified. They probably were told by their dad or overheard parts of the conversation on his end where they learned their mother got involved in an accident. OP should have done activities with these girls that got them to forget their worries and have a little bit of fun. I am sure there were things they could have done like watch a movie together, go to the park, play some games... whatever. She could have at least calmed these poor girls down so that they weren't a ball of anxiety and panic the entire day. Obviously taking the children out of the house for a bit to do anything would have meant asking the father for permission, but he would have agreed if it meant keeping his children safe and occupied until he called them with updates on their mother and unborn sibling.

Heck even if they wanted to mope around and do nothing a reasonable adult would have realized the child needed some space to process the fact their mother was hurt. Their pregnant mother which means their unborn sibling could be hurt or worse! Honestly they didn't sound that out of control all things considered. Not until they locked OP out at least but then again maybe they could sense she was a bit crazy and were scared...

The thing is that even if this is a writing assignment, that there are real people out there that are just like this woman. A former friend of mine from high school was like this. She made some of our friend circle actually believe she was dating this boy who was on the basketball team... So much so that one of our other friends (also a former friend) approached a girl he was dancing with at the school dance and attacked her even though she was his actual girlfriend.

Well last story was extremely sad. I cant make friends either. I can have conversations but no one wants to be friends. I gave up years ago and im okay with it but it does give ya bad depression to be so unwanted. Esp when people say all the time theres trillions of people in the world ya'd think everyone would have atleast a few people that cares about them like a friebd.

Story 3: I truly feel for them both, mainly because I’m in a similar situation. It can be hard to make friends for some people, even if you put yourself out there. You can be everything someone looks for in a friend but still end up without them. No one’s owed friends of course but at some point, you get discouraged and stop trying. Her seeking therapy for her depression was a good move. It sucks that therapy is getting harder and harder to obtain but I’m glad she at least has a support system with OP for now.

It sounded like the GF was trying a little to hard. Friends come naturally. You can't force it. When someone is overly pushy with trying to befriend you it feels very... I wouldn't say fake, but it comes across like someone has ulterior motives

Its pretty unfortunate, online friends can definitely only give you so much. Part of me does wonder since she has hobbies, aren't there events for these sorts of things where she's likely to meet people who share her hobbies. I will say I don't recommend everyone go down the route of just becoming friendless and trying to cope in one way or another with being lonely as you really have to find that will to keep going in even the worst of situations, which I wouldn't want people to take risks here since failure leads to an obvious result, potentially offing one's self. I do hope she can feel some great satisfaction from having her boyfriend stay by her side throughout all of this.

I am the complete opposite and make friends easily. I've been told a few times by a number of people that I have some kind of magnetic pull that gets all sorts of people to me. Obviously, this has gotten me into trouble with some people being awful and toxic, but I feel like it's a good gift to have because I am able to pull even the most reluctant person in and make friends with them even if they don't think they deserve to have a friend... or want a friend. I feel so sorry for OP's girlfriend. Honestly, I feel that if I were to meet her in person that I'd be her friend. Or at minimum, I could be another person she could talk to if she has her barriers up and just wants somebody to listen to what she says. One of my sisters has difficulties making friends. It's always been a sore spot for her, but she's made some amazing friends now that she's in high school. One thing that kept her going throughout the years where she was on her own was her online friends that she met while playing some games... or through their shared interests like Littlest Pet Shop and shows she liked. However, from the sounds of things, OP's girlfriend doesn't even have online friends.

The last story is definitely heartbreaking. I feel terrible for OP's girlfriend. I am the type that makes friends easily and just have a magnetic pull to do so, but I know that others don't have the same gift I do with pulling people to you and they don't make friends easily. I am willing to bet that if I were to meet OP's girlfriend in person that I'd have her as a friend. Poor girl thinks she's broken and that there's something wrong with her for why nobody wants to be her friend... but she sounds lovely from what OP is saying. Also, shame on the mental health facility at the school. There's always space for students to get help, even if they want to do drop ins to see somebody. This girl is depressed to the point that she's lost interest in what she used to love to do... That is one step closer to a suicide attempt.

OP in the first story isn't just delusional, she's cruel. She had to care for this man's girls because he found out that his PREGNANT WIFE was involved in a car accident that could have killed both his unborn child if it was severe enough or if his wife was in a stressed state. Hell, it could have even killed her if the accident was bad enough or if she went into labour before emergency personnel got there. Then instead of calming down the girls who were obviously very distressed, panicked, and believing that their mother was dying because they would've been told by their dad a little bit of what was going on. OP lives in this fantasy world where she says to herself that having these children as stepdaughters wouldn't work. It's very easy to get children to focus on something else for a little bit... to have fun while they are worried. OP could have put on a fun movie, took them out to a family restaurant or a park... do something with them like games or artwork. Anything would have been better other than what she did. Anyway, that is the least of the issues I have with this OP. She's so delusional that she actually set up some kind of fantasy life for herself with this man. This woman is a threat to this man and his family. Especially now that she doesn't have what she wants and knows that there's 'another' woman in the way of her goals.

Wow, the second OP isn't just delusional, she's a damn unhinged, crazy stalker. She broke up with her boyfriend a year or so prior so that she wouldn't feel bad about cheating on her partner. Then instead of moving on, she decided to stalk her ex boyfriend and transferred to his school. I hope that the boyfriend is safe. She's shown him that she can be a threat to him and to others she deems a threat. He definitely should be speaking with officials at the school to set up some kind of safety plan, including a restraining order of some kind.

I feel heartbroken for the the third OP and especially his girlfriend. I can imagine how absolutely devastating it is to somebody to learn that the friends they thought they had weren't actual friends to you... and on a day you're to celebrate your birthday? That isn't just devastating that is something that destroys you. I feel so bad. She must've been so excited to celebrate her birthday with people she thought had become her friends. I've never had difficulty making friends. People actually compare me to a human version of a magnet where I can pull people in and make friends regardless of whether they want to be or not. Sometimes, this has gotten me into trouble with toxic people, but I am willing to bet that OP's girlfriend is lovely and just has a difficult time making friends because people consider her weird and awkward. Colleges and universities have a lot going on for them in terms of clubs and parties put on by the school. Some of my university friends and I met each other through a gaming thing hosted by my school where we got to bring in our Nintendo Switches, and the school had some that they loaned out to students that wanted to participate but didn't have one. They also have clubs geared specifically based on academics. I got to be really close friends with a lot of my classmates when I signed up for their science clubs. And I met a guy while totally geeking out about dinosaurs and prehistoric life... Anyway, OP's girlfriend should see how she'd feel about finding a club that is geared to her interests that always accepts new people. I bet she'd make a friend or even two or three if she did that. I just feel terrible for this poor girl. I bet she's lovely to talk to and be around, but she hasn't met the right person that is willing to see that except for OP... and it's one thing to have your boyfriend around acting like both your SO and your best friend, it's quite another to have friends. Because what would happen if OP and this girl decide to end their relationship? She'd be left with nobody!

No no no. Everyone can have friends op 3. I thought i wouldnt have friends either. Then i was admitted into a hospital for medical complications and i made my first friend since i was a child there. He was my only friend for years then my brother introduced me to his friends and i became one of them easily and one of our friends introduced me to a dnd server and now i have a whole nother group that i love dearly even met my bf through the server and i never thought id get one of those. Im introverted af unless you get to know me and my weirdness. Its all about timing and finding people you vibe with. My first friend and bff bonded through anime and our love of drawing. We were both super shy first meeting then i saw the how to draw anime book that was peaking out of his bag and the rest is history

Story 3 has me a little split. While it sure sucks for the GF i can't really help but feel she might be a little to pushy. Friends come naturally, you can't really force it. And if you try to force it, it comes across like you have ulterior motives. She might just have to expand her horizon a bit, try out hobbies she might not have thought of before, etc.

Wow, the second OP isn't just delusional, she's a damn unhinged, crazy stalker. She broke up with her boyfriend a year or so prior so that she wouldn't feel bad about cheating on her partner. Then instead of moving on, she decided to stalk her ex boyfriend and transferred to his school. I hope that the boyfriend is safe. She's shown him that she can be a threat to him and to others she deems a threat. He definitely should be speaking with officials at the school to set up some kind of safety plan, including a restraining order of some kind.

I feel heartbroken for the the third OP and especially his girlfriend. I can imagine how absolutely devastating it is to somebody to learn that the friends they thought they had weren't actual friends to you... and on a day you're to celebrate your birthday? That isn't just devastating that is something that destroys you. I feel so bad. She must've been so excited to celebrate her birthday with people she thought had become her friends. I've never had difficulty making friends. People actually compare me to a human version of a magnet where I can pull people in and make friends regardless of whether they want to be or not. Sometimes, this has gotten me into trouble with toxic people, but I am willing to bet that OP's girlfriend is lovely and just has a difficult time making friends because people consider her weird and awkward. Colleges and universities have a lot going on for them in terms of clubs and parties put on by the school. Some of my university friends and I met each other through a gaming thing hosted by my school where we got to bring in our Nintendo Switches, and the school had some that they loaned out to students that wanted to participate but didn't have one. They also have clubs geared specifically based on academics. I got to be really close friends with a lot of my classmates when I signed up for their science clubs. And I met a guy while totally geeking out about dinosaurs and prehistoric life... Anyway, OP's girlfriend should see how she'd feel about finding a club that is geared to her interests that always accepts new people. I bet she'd make a friend or even two or three if she did that. I just feel terrible for this poor girl. I bet she's lovely to talk to and be around, but she hasn't met the right person that is willing to see that except for OP... and it's one thing to have your boyfriend around acting like both your SO and your best friend, it's quite another to have friends. Because what would happen if OP and this girl decide to end their relationship? She'd be left with nobody!
story 3 is a bit rough. im a lot like OP. I have 4 close friends who i have known for 10-20 years but we dont live in the same state. I'm a happy introvert just doing my thing day to day. I cant imagine the hell of being an extroverted woman but feeling isolated
The third story breaks my heart. I could say I'm sure she'll make friends and maybe she will find friends where she least expects them but there's just something about being rejected like that by your peers that's devastating.
No no no. Everyone can have friends op 3. I thought i wouldnt have friends either. Then i was admitted into a hospital for medical complications and i made my first friend since i was a child there. He was my only friend for years then my brother introduced me to his friends and i became one of them easily and one of our friends introduced me to a dnd server and now i have a whole nother group that i love dearly even met my bf through the server and i never thought id get one of those. Im introverted af unless you get to know me and my weirdness. Its all about timing and finding people you vibe with. My first friend and bff bonded through anime and our love of drawing. We were both super shy first meeting then i saw the how to draw anime book that was peaking out of his bag and the rest is history

And you want to know what makes her even more of a freak? The fact that he wasn't her boyfriend anymore since they broke up in high school so she could 'explore her options'. She stalked her boyfriend and found out which school he was going to so that she could 'surprise him'.

Story 3 has me a little split. While it sure sucks for the GF i can't really help but feel she might be a little to pushy. Friends come naturally, you can't really force it. And if you try to force it, it comes across like you have ulterior motives. She might just have to expand her horizon a bit, try out hobbies she might not have thought of before, etc.
