Then we have spamton, wich is a puppet that wants to be free. if this is correct, then the secret boss of chapter 3 will also be relationed to freedom AND will have part of the same leitmotif

Don't know if anyone said this, but 'Before The Story' was originally the PS4 Home Screen music for when you have the Undertale background on I believe. Of course it was probably originally planned for Deltarune, but this is also used as a select file music after you have finished each chapter of the game so far. THE WORLD REVOLVING seems to have become a letimotiff in BIG SHOT along with 'Battle Against a True Hero' as well. The song itself has the main theme of Deltarune which I actually have no idea since I only heard as a letimotiff and it is pretty much the very first theme you hear in the game as well after the intro sequence. And yes, you are right when you said You Can Always Come Back Home is basically a rework of Home for Deltarune. Reason why is, spoilers, the home of your character is also Toriel's home at the Surface. FYI, The Circus and THE WORLD REVOLVING are all themes related to the secret boss jester called Jevil. You were pretty on point when you said evil clowns haha

Specially since when you are in the game normally I don't pay as much attention as when later I listen to it in itself. now the thing is with 'THE WORLD REVOLVING', it contains something aptly called the 'freedom lemotif'. it is something that also plays in 'dialtone.' of chapter 2. (31:09 - 31:18, its the main melody heard in it.) funnily enough, it only has ever featured in the hidden boss themes, both having something linked between them of themes of trying to break free of a higher force.

I just finished my first semester back in music school after taking a 4 year break, and I have to say that I've been obsessed with Chaos King. I took a look at the music for the 3 measure instance where the song drops to two voices. I was hooked on it initially because because the lower voice sounded like the lead with a delay and changed rhythm, but it's so much more than that! Somehow, Toby Fox managed to break every single basic rule of counterpoint WITHOUT actually breaking ANY lf the rules, and it's utterly mind numbing to think about.
