I can not think about Noelle outside of Snowgrave now, I haven't done it personally (yet) but I'll feel awful for it. If anyone's confused, look it up. I'd say it's more hard hitting than the entire Undertale Genocide Route, yes. A series of events like, halfway through chapter 2 hits 1000x harder than an entire ROUTE of undertale did

yeah i read up on Snowgrave and initially my plan was to eventually go ahead and do Chapter 1 "Genocide" and Chapter 2 "Genocide", but I can't bring myself to do that. Definitely worse than Undertale Genocide imo

@@TrulySomeone And there's a good reason for it. In Undertale you fall down to a hostile world and know no one from it. Then you yourself murder everyone. Honestly, this is probably the least disturbing scenario of those in which everyone dies because of you. In Deltarune, not only are you in a world which you know and have been part of, not only do you know and have memories with the people in it, but you also manipulate an overwhelmingly sweet and innocent character to push her to do murder for you... including murder on her own friend she has known for a long time, ultimately breaking her psychologically. When seeing Undertale genocide, it's hard to imagine something worse than it simply because we are not used to such terrible things... but there are possibilities of evil, eerie and disturbing scenarios far worse than Undertale ever presented us with.

How Deltarune’s literally a game from 2018 and watching this in 2024 hits hard

After the Spamton sweepstakes i'm more convinced that this doesn't contain Noelle's motif. We do hear that bit towards the end of part 1 but that's also in FindHer, which is assumably Dess' theme, as well as in girl next door. So I'm assuming that that's the Holiday family's motif. In girl next door Noelle also gets her own motif unique to it in the guitar/bass sound. So my guess is that either A: Dess played guitar and created a melody for Noelle that eventually became her theme, or B: Lost Girl is also Dess' theme, and plays when Noelle self reflects, where when she's talking alone she might be symbolically speaking to Dess as a way to cope.

Make sure to always keep looking forward, and always talk to someone; opening up to someone is one of the best ways to feel better when you’re feeling shit.

I hope noelle keeps being an important character she’s so adorable and interesting and strong too! I hope it’s not like she surfaced in chapter 2 and goes back down to being a minor character again bc that would suck :/ just to waste that interesting character development and powers ?

Something tells me she will because were slowly learning more about her throughout each chapter so far like how on our journey with her we find that she has an older sibling like kris does and considering the fact that it gave off the implication that she's either dead or missing or both I think it's safe to assume that we haven't seen the last of her i'm also curious about what susie's home life is like considering we don't have much information yet but i'm guessing from the little hints from spending time with her that she doesn't have the best home life i don't know i could be wrong but we'll just have to wait and see won't we.

Her arc definitely isn't over. That, and the fact that she seems related to whatever The Incident was (asgore getting fired and losing the respect of Toriel after... whatever it was that happened with her sister, Dess) makes me think there's no way she'll be wasted in this story.

Spoiler: Noelle's rescue in chapter 2 was obviously depicted as romantic. Come on, we have the hero Susie who breaks into the evil queen's castle, beats up the bad guys and saves the damsel in distress, with soft music and all!

I love her, she easily became one of my faves. Ralsei being first and her being second. They're sweet sunshines but they are definitely hiding parts of themselves and I can't wait to learn more about them.

Deltarune has more emotions (not that I'm saying undertale wasn't emotional) which means they worked hard and remember and rewrite their mistakes in the last game to make the next one more of a art of skills and of course i am not saying that undertale was a bad game but i am just saying that they learn to make better things and i gotta say they did better im happy that there are chances of success on people. Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, but I feel like Undertale has a lot of "filler" dialogue. Some scenes are just quirky little dialogues about the characters doing random things. In Deltarune however, most of the dialogue seems to be either for pushing the narrative, creating character development, or forging the bonds between the characters. Deltarune definitely plays more like a really good book.

Undertale was done mostly for fun, and he rushed to release the game because of the fans. Undertale has also lots of holes, and bugs that are there because of that. Even all the gaster stuff that remained as easter eggs was going to be a lot more complete, but he let all that way because of the rush. We have to be patient with Deltarune for it to be better.

Noelle is my favourite character currently, and as many other I would hate for her to just become a minor character. Other than that I've decided I will simply just not do snowgrave, nor any murders. I feel guilt even watching the videos so uhh I'm just gonna pretend it does not exist. It hurts so much more than the undertale genocide, even just watching videos.

@@str4wberrysquid115 while making a vessel in ch1,naming it kris,susie or noelle will trigger a unique response,both kris and susie are very important characters one of them is the protagonist and the other one is their best friend who seems to have a huge impact on the rest of the cast(eg:becoming lancer's bff and thus helping him confront his dad,calling out berdly and making him realize he's stupid to name a few) noelle getting this response means that she will have a bigger role in the future especially considering her crush on Susie and her complicated friendship with kris

This hurts me now, I did the snowgrave route just for curiosity and...I feel really awful, It really hurted me, Undertale genocide route didn´t make me feel bad, it didn´t even make me cry! but the Snowgrave thing...It make me feel so bad for Kris and for Noelle, bad for Kris because I manipulated them to manipulate their childhood friend, Noelle.

Toby's done an incredible job solidifying the vibe of his games. Even though they have different stories and such, you really feel the undertale vibes when playing deltarune and I like that a lot. Excited for chapter 2!

This would've been perfect when put into the scene where Susie enters Noelle's room then decides to have a little conversation before it switches to the ferris wheel scene. Though, I feel like this will be reused in later chapters, along with the scrapped version of Girl Next Door.

Snowgrave almost completely wrecked me for life. Almost. It was a bit too late though. Omori did it first and way better. I have always loved Undertale and Deltarune, but nothing can ever come close to what I feel with Omori. They’re both really good though, I love them
