Not sure why this popped up in my recommendations but I'm glad it did. I've never seen anything like this before. As a 70 year old white woman who has been depressed with the way this country has been headed, watching all these amazing strong women who will become leaders has given me hope for this country after all. I'm adding this to my save list for when i need a reminder that things will get better. Thank you.

Unless you mean we sorority girls can marshal our resources or "parlay" our sorority's prestige to help our people, which we do with millions in scholarships and first time home ownership, then okay, you are right as that is what these ladies will now be able to do. Blacks fare better when we combine our sometimes limited resources and pile it all together to share with the community. But if you were being derogatory and we mistranslated, as north African French is my husband's third and not primary language, then God bless you but get a life!

This line was the cleanest of ALL initiations that I have seen this entire Spring!! Hats off to Beta Eta. You DID that!!

Wooooooooow ! Ladies, I am 41 years of age. I've never attended a 4 year College. I did however, attended a Trade School (Culinary Arts). Since High School, I've always found Black Greek Fraternities and Sororities fascinating. The abundant community service you all do, the long lasting careers you've obtained, the high leveled humility you all express, and the astounding creativity you all display, is truly remarkable. As a Black Man, in all honesty, you young Women brought tears to my eyes. It makes me so proud to see beautiful black highly educated Queens achieve such a high honor among fellow highly educated black Queens in many professional industries. May all 60 of you beautiful Sistas continue to press forward in all your ventures. God Bless The fine Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta BTW.......The presentation was off the chain. But im all about entrances. That entrance was Breathtaking.

It really seems the traditionally Black Sororities and Fraternities still hold up the REAL reason behind these organizations- community service driven projects and activities and an unrivaled support system both within the group and out into the community. The entire performance was awe inspiring!!!

I’ve seen enough representation in film and TV of white-majority Ivy League sorority life. I’ve never seen anything like this before, and I’ll be honest, I was completely ignorant of Black college culture and traditions in the US and I think it’s absolutely amazing, breathtaking to watch and nothing inspires me more than seeing young women (of all races and nationalities) being taught and encouraged that they can accomplish anything they want to - the algorithm knows best 😊

My fiancee was in a sorority in college, I never really gave much thought to Greek life but when she was watching this yesterday I couldn't help but be caught up in the energy and love that they were giving each of these young ladies. I hope they all get a lifetime of support and sisterhood from each other.

I enjoy watching these. The Deltas are always top tier and have the best probates of every one. A difference that I have noticed with the fraternities vs sorority probates is that the fraternities seem a lot more emotional. Nonetheless im happy that people found their people.

@Debbie Thomas right, KZread or Google is your best friend but its a sorority, you see on college campus but the divine 9 which are the 9 Black fraternities and Sororities, but as times are changing their are more throughout campus. They give more heart, soul, and services in the community.

There was a time when this all related to the "Elite 8" which is now the "Divine 9" and black fraternities/sororities would introduce their new members to the campus by way of putting them through a very physically/mentally demanding, intense and challenging program formerly known as PLEDGING! There were NEVER large numbers like these as shown here. Often times there would be 1-5 individuals with many times only one who endured WEEKS/MONTHS of PLEDGING! Years took place too! Fast forward to modern day present times. Black fraternities/sororities have individuals pay a very cheap fee of around $200 dollars and complete a two page application with a brief biography and are admitted into their "chosen" fraternity/sorority. It usually happens during a weekend where the members who belong to the organizations host the candidates and actually cater to the "newbies" with absolutely no physical activities. The "newbies" are provided food, drink (non-alcoholic of course) and are shown much adoration, love and respect by the members. I believe some even provide them with back rubs and foot massages too. The national offices and leadership of these fraternities/organizations demand that the "newbies" be treated to a weekend/cluster of pure "professionalism" by way of knowing that they are to report "snitch" on any "big brother/sister" that has demanded for them to buy them a Big Mac (even with cheese) as this is now considered "hazing!" After a a few hours of reading powerpoint presentations they are finally sworn in through taking the "Oath of Paper" which allows them to be members of the National PanHellenic Council (NHPC) and LIE, EMBELLISH, EXAGGERATE their process by boldly claiming, "I PLEDGED HARD, WE PLEDGED FOR 20 WEEKS! ETC.) Be it known, that any Tae Kwon Do/Karate McDoJo has a more physical grueling and challenging process for its children program. This is a brief synopsis of the MEMBERSHIP INTAKE that has ruined the morale of so-called "black greek organizations" members who PLEDGED and EARNED their letters!

This performance kept my attention through the entire step routine. I've never seen anything so fascinating my arms had goose bumps through the whole program. To the young talented women Hey! keep inspiring the people both young and old. Honestly I would love to be that age again. Stay focused believe in yourselves. Your absolutely fantastic seeing all your sisters together in every way you became one body. To my sister leaders your amazing. It takes discipline and self control creativity and talent to have these young women create power on stage, literally. Beautiful yet outstanding not to mention unique each one of you sister leaders. I'm so proud to see our young sisters so driven and focused. I can't wait to see the next performance. Well done! WoW!!!!!
